I use to love American deli when they first came but now i can say they have truly fell off , after my most recent experience i will NEVER be back ! I’m just now leaving the hospital and was diagnosed with food poisoning…. I felt great alllll of sunday amazing to be exact , I wanted american deli but i wanted to try something new since ive only had the wings and big mistake! I ordered the 3 piece fish with fries combo and got a fruit punch drink … when i got home my food was already cold so i warmed it up in microwave , (i should’ve checked while i was at the restaurant ) i started eating my fish and in the picture you can see how small one of the pieces were , i asked for it fried longer bc i have this fear of salmonella poisoning , im not sure if my fish was old , or if they used old fish they already had made and just dropped it back in fryer im truly not sure , i ate half this fish till i stopped when i noticed i was getting sick , not even a full hour goes by and i was in the bathroom throwing up what i had just ate , monday 03/02/26 i woke up still sick and throwing up , i haven’t been able to keep anything down , i tried to drink water it came back up as well , i finally decided to call ems monday night bc it had gotten so bad … im just now leaving Mary Black ER at 3:00 am on 03/03/26 after being diagnosed with food poisoning… this was the only dinner i ate monday , besides a bowl of cereal i had for breakfast so it was easy for them to pinpoint who gave me food poisoning! and ps for this plate to be over 16 dollars it was NOT worth the small amount they give you .

Terrible. Ordered a 6 piece and a 10 piece wing combo, fries on both plates were undercooked still looked white and cold on the inside, was upset but thought atleast I still have the wings, nope took my first bite of my wing and it was pink. Complained on door dash and was only refunded $16 out of $50 I spent on food I literally couldn’t even eat. We ordered 2 sets of wings 2 sides of fries and out of those 4 items only 1 of them was edible. Absolutely ridiculous, waste of money!!

this is my first time hearing of American Deli, it is terrible. My co-worker who go the burger the lettuce was wilted and soggy the fries were not cooked through, frozen in the middle. My House Rice seemed as though it was poured from a frozen bag straight into a pan or maybe even microwaved. It was supposed to be beef, chicken & shrimp, the shrimps were mini mini & the beef and chicken were shredded so it was difficult to even see them there. With all the bad reviews I just read, it seems this place should close.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I came here on 10/28/25 around 6 pm. I ordered 30 wings and received my wings and they were NOT warm, given COLD food. I ask them for fresh wings and was told no and was YELLED at to not to come back. The owner/employee was RUDE! Save your money and time and do not eat here, Go somewhere where they respect their paying customers. I shouldn’t have been given cold food that was probably sitting out all day. The health department needs to go come. Rude and terrible customer service.

I asked for all flats i didn’t get that but the garlic parmesan sauce is GROSS!! It’s a weird sweet Parmesan taste no garlic just no i couldn’t even eat them.. the chicken Philly is good and the fries… the Ruben is a waste of money little to no meat for the price

Came here today for the 1st and last time wanted to try it because we never heard of them or of it being a “wing” place now I know why. First customer service absolutely horrible. Young AA girl working the front counter didn’t say a single word to us not when we walked in not after being rung up or when she handed us our food. She also rung us both up for a combo with fries and drinks for $31 when we BOTH only asked for wings my husband hate fries. Then she was on a person call while we were sitting inside. Whole vibe was weird we barely touched our food and got up and left. Lastly the wings, it’s sad because the chicken itself is really good quality chicken and crispy but the sauces are not it. Me and my husband both got different flavors and agreed we couldn’t finish the chicken because the sauces were weird and nasty and taste like a bunch of weird sauces a little kid batched together at home. This place will continue to be off our radar yuck!

Bad bad bad. I went to American deli today and got a chicken salad and this is what I received, to get halfway down the road to my location and open my box I was so upset. It was so hard like I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog and I love animals. Don’t take that the wrong way however, I should’ve knew it was a red flag when I walked in and all of the workers was laying out lounging eating all doing all types of stuff that didn’t look professional But I was hungry and ready to get something to eat before work so I took the plate back she asked me what did I want to do? I said I would like more food. She asked me what food I would like. I said let me try something else being that that didn’t work then she began to price range the difference of what I want next red flag that should have not been the first answer after that after she seen that chicken after she see I was professional( myself )she begin to say that it was cool what I would I like so she put me another order in while I awaited. I asked for a drink maybe like 10 minutes after waiting, she tried to charge me. I stated that I was not going to pay. For a drink after being disappointed the way I was I work in customer service as well, so I did not take the drink because I didn’t want to pay for it. Why should I after receiving this hard crunchy rocks of chicken why would this be served out the kitchen who feel comfortable enough to serve this anyway??when I asked to speak to a manager she told me no one was there… She began to say things in their gender, and I felt offended because she was talking normal. The first time. I just wanted to share my experience with this place. I will never go back and not to mention the food that the remade I trash because it was gross:(
