The number one combo – the single shot Smashburger – don’t waste waste your money. It was so laughable the burger didn’t even fit the bun. There was 3x more bread than meat. The fries were great, but definitely not worth the price.

Ordered 2 large sundaes one vanilla with hot fudge one chocolate with hot fudge. They had the vanilla one right away but we waited on the chocolate, no one bothered to tells us anything, they just shut the drive thru window. We ended up actually having to pull up out of drive thru and go in to get it, and was met with they had to change something out…They could have let us know. The chocolate sundae had a bunch of ice crystals, didn’t bother to finish eating it, and by the time we got the chocolate sundae the vanilla was a melted mess.Won’t be back.

American Custard is a must stop when you visit Saint Gen. They have the best pizza, burgers and wings around. The staff is amazing, and they treat you like family. Their cheesecake is my absolute favorite anywhere, and their custard and coffees are top notch. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

I’ve dined here many times and it’s always a wonderful experience! The food is consistently fresh and made to order. The service is kind, helpful, and truly welcoming. The atmosphere is light, friendly, and fun—perfect for a relaxing meal. If you haven’t visited this place yet, you absolutely should! As a sweet bonus, the owner makes incredible cakes and cheesecakes, which are a delicious alternative to frozen custard for dessert!

AWESOME LITTLE PLACE!!! Took our 3 Grandbabies there for a late lunch after visiting the Museum in St. Genevieve. Good Food, clean restaurant and bathrooms, & great friendly service. We all 5 had either 9″ pizza, or burger & fries all with drinks, & frozen custard for under $50!!! We WILL VISIT AGAIN!
