What a find! American Brew in Defence Colony is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a great conversation over some delicious food and coffee. The staff is exceptionally well-trained and polite, providing quick and attentive service that really makes the experience special.
The menu offers a fantastic variety, especially for breakfast. I highly recommend the Egg Breakfast—the omelet was incredibly fluffy and fresh, served with a tasty hashbrown, grilled tomato, and chicken sausage. We also had the Mexican Nachos, which were a delight with their crispy texture and perfectly spicy salsa. While the avocado toast could use a bit more flavor, it was still enjoyable.
The coffee is another standout. My Vietnamese coffee was brewed to perfection, and I loved that they serve sugar syrup on the side. While the prices are a bit high, the quality of the food, excellent service, and inviting ambiance make it completely worth it. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Visited this breakfast place today — the ambience was really pleasant and cozy, perfect for a relaxed morning. The coffee was excellent, rich and perfectly brewed, definitely the highlight of the meal.
The food, however, was a bit underwhelming. The bread was quite chewy and could have been softer, and the omelette turned out dry instead of fluffy. With a little more attention to texture and freshness, this spot could easily become a go-to breakfast place.
Overall, great vibe and coffee, but the food could use some improvement.

The aesthetica and ambience is really good but the food is somewhat good not entirely as veg options are less, and it’s too much of everything like If I ordered something with cheese or would be too much cheesy. Drinks are okayish I would say.

Had a wonderful brunch at American Brew! The farm-fresh thin crust pizza was delicious, the cold coffee and chocolate shake were spot on, and the brownie with ice cream was the perfect finish. Great service and ambiance.

I ordered the chocolate pancake, mac and cheese and Cheesecake shake.
The location and ambience is definitely good, but the seats are a little cramped, if it would’ve been rush hour then the place would be cramped and there are only 4-5 tables that can accommodate more than 2 people. Now onto the food
1. Mac and cheese – The quantity was okayish, the tasty was good we ordered the one with veggies. The bread that was provided along with it was very hard but I made do with it. Price almost 900, seriously very expensive.
2. Chocolate pancake – The chocolate pancake was veryyy dry, the compote and syrup provided with it helped a little. Price around 400 ish
3. Cheesecake shake – The cheesecake shake almost tasted like a butterscotch shake, it did not have any volume to it. Price 300 ish.
All in all the atmosphere is great with less people, but as you can see with the prices, it is hella expensive. I think these guys have nailed the location and the atmosphere but not the quantity and the price.

The place may be a bit over-priced, but the ambience, food and service was good. We had ordered mocktails, veg- burger, loaded nachos and creamy pesto pasta.

Absolutely pathetic experience. This was the worst white sauce pasta I have ever had. The taste was bland, poorly prepared, and not fresh at all. Completely overpriced for such low quality.
What shocked me even more was their ridiculous behavior of charging extra money for basic vegetables. Since when do vegetables become a premium add-on in pasta? This is nothing but a cheap way to extract more money from customers.
Terrible food, unprofessional staff, and zero value for money. I strongly advise people to avoid this place. Totally disappointing.

A nice place for early (8:00am IST) morning breakfast.. all items on the menu are available served. Staff is helpful and courteous and the restaurant has a nice spacious setup. Lot of items on the menu to select from.

1. Staff is sad, they don’t smile, they don’t greet, our waiter was never around the table , I had to find him, owners should hire more diligent willing to work staff cause otherwise customers won’t order food. All of the staff were very weird. There were some men abusing bc to staff and when I complained they stopped and increased the music volume. The music is youtube with a lot of ads playing. Can I buy you guys a Spotify connection?
2. Through Zomato you get 50% off and that was an outstanding deal. We paid 4k and had a lot of drinks and food. We removed gratuity because staff was unfriendly and tough to call.
3. The pizza was 10/10, the onion rings was 10/10, the fries were 10/10
Place has a lot of potential. Just hire happier people and be very very very very very nice to your customers. The lift has a very weird smell. The valet seemed disinterested.
