This place is a true gem in Ellendale! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by that cozy, “homey” vibe you’d expect from a classic American BBQ joint. The staff is incredibly welcoming; they greeted us with a smile, helped us navigate the menu, and checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The ribs themselves were outstanding—the meat was literally falling off the bone, and that smoky sauce provided the perfect kick. The location is very convenient, right in the heart of town, so you can’t miss it. If you’re looking for a hearty meal in a soulful atmosphere, this is definitely a must-visit!

After a long wait, I ordered a whole rack of
St. Lious style ribs for $55 and a small cup of potatoe salad for $15, sauce on the side.
With one drink and a tip, it was $100! For a meal to go, no sit down eating allowed.
*** No joke, I could not even bite the cold meat off the rib bones. It was horribly over smoked and at least a couple days old since being prepared. I could not eat them. I offered them to my dog. He didn’t even want those ribs. They had such a bad smell to them, I had to toss them out the window. Meat and bones only, did not litter Now that Read his reviews, I see he gets a lot of bad reviews and he always says it is a smear campaign or a competitor.
Nope not this time, just a honest review while eating a meal on the road.

This was our first time here and the food was absolutely incredible! My picky 12 year old cleaned his plate, my 10 year looved the ribs and my 2 year old who is not a big meat eater, ate it all! We will definitely be back and will recommend America Homeland Revival Ribs to those who are looking for a food place!

Ribs were dry and seemed old. For $55 a rack of ribs should top notch and these weren’t even close.
Portion size was lacking, we ordered a full rack, which is more than the two person plate and single serving size ( I loathe to see those portions), and walked away hungry. The owner offered more food but neither of us wanted anymore dry ribs in our stomachs ( besides, he offered some cuts that he described as “ grisly and take a lot of work to eat”)
A $15 dollar side order better knock it out of the park and be enough that you’re taking some home. Nope. About three cups of salad….$15
$5 !!!!!!! Bottle of Coke $5!!!! C’mon on man!!!
The gentleman was great host, I’ll give him that. Food quality and pricing ( especially pricing) are a hard pass for me, won’t be going back and cannot recommend.

Outrageously overpriced sides ($15 for side of mushrooms; $15 for potato salad(had to discard because inedible). Ribs were tough and chewy like dried up jerky. They were overpriced also. Complete waste of money and time, our dogs wouldn’t even touch any of it.

Dined in with my family for my mom’s birthday and it was delicious! We especially loved the mac n’ cheese, Tennessee ribs, Chicago tips and cole slaw, but everything we ate was fabulous. We’re from Omaha, NE and wish we could take this place with us. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Got an order to go, right away, I was surprised by the bill but was actually a very good value for the money. The smoked ribs had a wonderful taste. Extremely friendly gentleman. Definitely will be back sometime. Only takes cash but there is a ATM in the lobby.

Wonderful ribs. Loved the Tennessee style, but have had the St. Louis and Chicago, and they were terrific. Mild and hot sauces were both super. Mac and cheese is unique and delicious with a touch of sweet, maybe like carmelied brown sugar. Yum.
Called ahead and Kelly had suggestions, and made sure he had what we wanted. Really nice couple, very pleasant atmosphere.
