Authentic German kitchen. It was really so delicious. But need to check their work hours. Also so great interior. Very friendly staff. No problem with parking. All over the street. Kids menu available. I can recommended this place. Because it was delicious and authentic!

If you want to find a small German place to eat in Fort Lauderdale, this is the most iconic restaurant. It is hidden in the city, we’re you can eat very good german food and excellent service.

Feb 16/23- Delicious authentic home cooked German cuisine! House salad was cold & fresh. Jaeger Schnitzel and Weiner Schnitzel were outstanding. Nice wine list as well. We ordered Black Forest cake to go, we were too full. Lol! Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Pricing was appropriate. Will gladly go back.

This place is amazing! My dad (who’s from out of town) has been coming here while visiting for years and I finally got to try it. The pigs wings are phenomenal! That’s all I can comment on since it’s all I had but can’t wait to go back for more! Another man at the bar got a burger that was the size of my head, so I’ll def be trying that in the future as well 🙂

We ate here for the first time tonight. The atmosphere of this place is amazing. I appreciate it especially due to my German heritage. Everyone was very nice and we will definitely be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Ambry Restaurant! I went with a party of 4 and we were promptly seated for dinner. Being a German restaurant I was expecting only meat and potatoes and cabbage…but I ordered an excellent grouper fish plate with very good mashed potatoes and a really surprisingly good horseradish soup that was just perfect. Topping the meal off with a delicious piece of German chocolate cake! Oh so yummy!!! I will certainly be back.

Great place, has been around forever. When you park note that the spaces right in front are metered but the ones 10 steps away along the street are free. The Ambry is charming with a set up with totally separate rooms holding about 4 tables. The only reason I did not give five stars is because we were seldom visited by a server and would’ve had to get up and go looking for them to submit our request. When we asked for white bread it came out less than completely fresh. Otherwise though the food was absolutely excellent. I had the combination plate with pork and sausages and my wife had I think it was veal with Alfredo sauce and Spaetzle. By the way they no longer have a salad bar but they have added a couple of large picnic tables. Charming atmosphere and tons of beer mugs and antiques. If you’ve never had wheat beer try the Tucher. I’m not a beer drinker but I always enjoy this when eating German food.

Simply outstanding on every category! The food, with its huge portions, was excellent. Everything tasted great! The service only gets four stars because the server neglected to mention that there were up charges for each vegetable and gravy. I was charged an extra $1.50 to have onions added to the spraetzle and $4.50 for the side of mushroom gravy.

I absolutely love the ambiance of this German restaurant. I love how they have different areas/rooms for eating in. We were pretty loud but having a rather private room made it really easy to be able to still hear each other and not feel like we were a disruption to everyone else. The food was fantastic and the drinks were great. Our wait staff was really personable, and helped make our time here even more perfect. The details in decor are absolutely fabulous. So much to see all over this restaurant. I highly recommend it!
