Every time I go there I have a wonderful dining experience! I recommend going until you get to try everything on the menu. The atmosphere is always pristine, calm, clean and the staff is always friendly. The staff asks about allergies upfront and also gives you honest recommendations about what they recommend you try too. I just took some family friends to the restaurant because they were in town for a memorial service. They had a wonderful dining experience and it was what they needed in their time of mourning. Let’s see… their salads are amazing, the pork chops and apples are spot on, their lamb is always delicious, and I really hope they are here for a long time to come!

This restaurant is the toast of downtown Columbia. Staff is awesome, friendly and hardworking to make sure you have a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere is amazing. This restaurant is beautiful throughout. Even the bathroom is marvelous! Service is top notch! Our waitress was on the ball, we didn’t want for nothing. Chef Alex came to check on us and ask if we enjoyed our lunch. The restaurant is clean throughout. This place is a prototype of how you should operate a restaurant. Quality of the food is excellent. Vegetables were fresh and everything on my Platter was delicious and tantalizing to my palate. We enjoyed our lunch immensely. Beautiful decorations and the entire place is welcoming and comforting. Keep of the great job everyone. Ask for Chef Alex to come out and make recommendations for your meal. You will be treated like royalty.

The food was delicious the lamb chops, salmon, steak, chicken, and calamari were all cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Every bite was worth it! The service was top-tier. Huge shoutout to my Son-in-love Christopher Hopkins for putting everything together ❤️
If you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and a place to celebrate life’s special moments, Ambrosia is the spot. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely restaurant. Their decor is classy and inviting. My 3 companions and I had a delicious meal on a very slow Monday night. The main courses were delicious! Collectively we ordered the whole snapper fish, pork shank, lamb lollipops, and the steak dinner. Everyone enjoyed the meals and had leftovers to take home. My pork shank was fall off the bone meat with slightly spicy (for me) Greek rosemary potatoes. All . We ordered ginger beer and tequila cocktails. They were delicious, the chef, Sterling, did an outstanding job and the presentation and flavor of the food was superb! Our server Amber was also excellent providing attentive service without being intrusive. She graciously answered all of our questions and requests. Overall an excellent experience and look forward to returning.

We went on a Thursday at 1200 for lunch. It was a little weird, the whole time we were there we didn’t see anyone else come in. It’s a beautiful room and the service was excellent. But again, as far as I could tell we were the only ones being served. My wife had the souvlaki sandwich with lamb. She felt like some pieces of the lamb were a little chewy, but overall a good dish. And it was huge. I had the lamb souvlaki platter and it was excellent. First time I’ve ever had spanakopita. Delicious.

Went there with my family and my boyfriend’s family, so it was a party of 8. The area where we sat, there were only 2 other tables all with the same server. Our server was not very welcoming, she did not refill anything unless we somehow managed to call her over because she rarely came. Our table was uneven so as soon as we sat down I asked if she could fix it. She didn’t fix it until I asked again after she took our orders. She had a very monotoned and “i don’t care” attitude. Half of our table was served their food and finished almost half of it before our other food came out. The waiter seemed to pay no attention to us or have a sense of urgency. Previous times i have been there, the food, staff, and environment were amazing, so this was a disappointment. Our families are very big tippers, but felt the service did not even deserve tip. Unfortunately , since we were a large party, gratuity was already added. So maybe knowing she would automatically get 20%, she just paid no attention. She didn’t clear plates until after we got our entrees, no fresh silverware either. Not a nice experience, not because of the food or atmosphere, but because of our waitress. Half of the table works in the restaurant industry, so we were trying to be understanding.. but the place was empty and the service provided was horrific. Next time we will not be sitting at a table.

Made reservations for dinner one night, and was greeted and seated immediately. I’m not sure how busy this place usually gets, but it seemed as if we were only the 3rd table being occupied at this time. Anyways, we were greeted by our waitress who explained the menu to us and brought us the complimentary bread. The bread was decent when mixed with the olive oil and balsamic mix. For a starter, we ordered the fried calamari. The appetizer was fresh and tasty. For dinner was the lamb lollipops, and they did not disappoint. They were tender and juicy and had a nice grilled char on them. Overall, the food was good but the service was a little bit slow for the amount of customers in the building, but not that big of a deal!!!

Ok. So we went there to eat tonight. First it is actually a really nice atmosphere and restaurant. Now, the food and service. We had Caroline, pardon me if I spelled it wrong, but she was great ans kept checking on us so A+ for that, sadly I wish the food was just as good. We had the Greek meatballs, they were not handmade, they were a little to perfectly round for thet. The main course, we ordered the braised beef, the beef waa especially tender, and the scorpio shrimp, sauce could have used some salt. Portion wise was ok, not worth the money in my opinion and the food was lukewarm at best. Overall I gave it 3 stars because the food was lukewarm.

Very positive experience! My husband and I had a reservation for 5:30 on a rainy Thursday evening. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere was perfect for a special evening with lovely decor and tasteful seasonal winter touches. We started off with fried haloumi (fried cheese, grapes, and fresh greens with a honey drizzle). It was absolutely delicious and we would definitely get it again. I really wanted lamb and went with the lamb lollipops. The server was knowledgeable and told me they were being served a bit differently that evening. I went ahead and got the dish and it tasted great – very nicely seasoned with a sweet dipping sauce. The manager did stop by our table to check on us so that was nice. We finished out our visit by splitting a serving of galaktoboureko (custard pastry). Overall, everything was delicious and we are definitely looking forward to another special visit.

Amazing brunch! Had the lemon egg soup and the shrimp and grits. Highly recommend!!! Went around opening time with my friend also for dinner a while back the week they opened…we always have great service and the owners are always eager to talk to everyone. One of the dishes I enjoy is the grilled apple pork chops. Cooked perfectly. My new favorite place in cola! And, it feels like we get a very personal experience with our very own table! And order the French 75…comes with a treat
