I don’t eat chicken but my husband got some that looked soft and moist. My meal was great, the host was excellent, and we’ll definitely stop in again if we find ourselves in the area. Great variety of food for anyone and everyone. The only let down was the naan, a little inconsistent.

A wonderful place for both breakfast and dinner. I had the goat meat curry which was possibly the best I have ever had & the Indian cheesecake was a special treat. Next morning I had fantastic eggs benedict exactly the way I requested them (soft).

We visited Osoyoos for a couple of hours and decided to try somewhere new. We’ve never been to Ambrosia before, but I’m glad we did!
Our server, Tracy, was a delight! She was super friendly, and we engaged in a great conversation.
As the food is Northern Indian food, so it is not the type of Indian food you usually get everywhere else. It was rich and flavorful, and my daughter and I enjoyed it very much. Truly authentic Indian food. We both ordered the butter chicken. Yummy!
Tracy suggested the chia latte and omg! You gotta try it! It’s absolutely to die for. Sooooo delicious.
The only thing I would change is the Naan. It was quite thin and dry.
Other than that, our visit was a good one.

I recently visited Ambrosia Family Restaurant for lunch, and I was left incredibly disappointed with the quality of the food. As someone who enjoys authentic Indian cuisine, I found myself questioning if this was truly Indian food.

I ordered the Chana Bhatura, which had no flavor whatsoever, and the Paneer Chilli was essentially just capsicum and paneer in a bland gravy. The naan was hard and inedible. Nothing stood out in terms of taste, and it was a letdown.

The only saving grace was the excellent service. Ashley, our server, was polite, energetic, and represented the restaurant well. However, the effort from the kitchen staff did not match up to her dedication.

I was hoping for an authentic and enjoyable meal, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was an absolute disaster. I got the Fish Pakora for nearly $13 and was shocked to find just seven tiny bite-sized pieces in the container. It was a total rip-off. When I went back the next day to express my frustration, the staff — especially the lady at the counter — were incredibly rude and dismissive. No empathy, no apology, nothing. Her body language said it all: “I don’t care.”

When I asked why such a small quantity was being served at such a high price, they brushed it off saying “business is down.” That’s no excuse for overcharging customers and serving substandard food. The Fish Pakora itself was pathetic — not even real pakora — just dry, flavorless grilled fish pretending to be something it’s not.

To make things worse, the Chicken Curry was equally bad. The gravy was overloaded with tomatoes, lacked any balance or flavor, and tasted ridiculous. It felt like a poorly thrown-together dish with zero authenticity.

As a tourist, this experience was really disheartening. The food was bad, the service was worse, and the attitude of the staff was just plain unacceptable.

If you really want to enjoy Indian food, skip this place and go to The Flames Restaurant instead — it’s miles ahead in taste, quality, and hospitality. Don’t waste your money or your mood here!!

Host was friendly, and polite. Very quick to take my order.
I ordered couple things from the menu but it wasn’t up to my expectation. After couple bites of each I had it packed. I have never had chicken tikka masala with potatoes and green peas. Not the combination I look forward to or expected to taste.

I ordered butter chicken without rice or naan because im on a keto diet and also 1 samosa for my mom to go. When i arrived they said it wasnt enough food so she put in extra chicken for me no extra charge So sweet! Also threw in 2 extra samosas. Very kind and generous service. Food was great! Thank you!

I can’t rave enough about how much we enjoyed having lunch at Ambrosia. It’s a little unassuming restaurant, however, we found the customer service to be excellent and the food delicious. We ordered fish and chips and pakoras. The fish and chips were big enough to share and cooked with a crispy outside and tender inside. The tartar sauce was packaged, and I would have loved to taste some homemade. The pakoras were freshly made and the waitress told us it was one of the most requested items. They were definitely some of the best I’ve tasted. We’ll definitely stop by to try more of their menu next time we’re in town.

I drove by this restaurant several times and decided not to stop in because there were no cars parked out front so and it was just kind of “there”. I read a few reviews online and decided to give it a try for brunch on Thanksgiving weekend. When I walked in, the smells of curry made me change my mind from wanting breakfast so I ordered vegetable pakora and butter chicken. Despite the average first impression, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was absolutely phenomenal! The food was delicious. The menu was expansive, so there is something for everyone. It is an absolutely lovely, family-run restaurant. The only reason it didn’t get five stars is because the naan bread was not homemade. FYI there is lots of parking in back 🙂

Amazing food, service and a wide variety of options. We had both dinner and breakfast here and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. If you’re hungry and aren’t sure what you want to eat this is a great local place to try.
