My combo was less than 13 bucks and it was the biggest slice I’ve ever had along with a side salad and a drink. I mean you can’t beat that price plus it’s very delicious. Service here was great very nice and friendly. Just call your order in in advance trust me.

Not sure what’s going on with Ambrose but this isn’t the veggie pizza I remember. The dough is flavorless and terrible. It used to be soft with a nice crunch on the bottom, now it’s just mush. The veggie pizza used to have fresh vegetables over the melted cheese, now it just looks like a frozen pizza you’d get at a grocery store. Look at old pictures of supreme and veggie pizzas on their reviews and they don’t look anything like this. Severely disappointed, if this is the new Ambrose pizza I’ll find somewhere else.

Have been coming here since I was a kid, moved out of town and was visiting… pizza just as delicious and I remember. Great pricing still and consistent service. Buffalo Chicken medium slice is more than enough for one person. Satisfied my pregnancy craving!

Food is the only thing good about that place. The AC is strong people gets their with coats on. I don’t know why! I had to ask if they can lower down the air which they only did it for about 20minutes. Service is poor you have to get up and walk to the counter to ask for anything you need. Atmosphere is poor place is almost empty few times I being there. Not worth it spent $100 on a pizza, wings and a pitcher. Good thing my son had a blanket in the car.

I like what they are trying to do but it’s not my cup of tea.
I got the Lunch Special #1 which is a soda, salad, and large pizza slice. The salad was a small green salad that I wasn’t expecting and it was a perfect size.
The pizza slice wasn’t really a slice. It was a pizza in the shape of a triangle. The difference is a slice has one edge of crust and two sides of moist, cooked dough.
The triangle-shaped pizza makes every piece of the triangle a crust and the bit of dough that isn’t crust is cooked stiff. Not burned but stiff like a thick cracker. I’d prefer the pizza to have some soft spots that aren’t so tough on my teeth.
It’s a great deal for lunch. I don’t think I’ll get it again. I will try to be back to see how their regular pizza is. I suspect it’s probably good but I was solo and the idea of a slice made sense.
I took a picture that I hope helps show what I ordered.

Food is delish and cost is moderate. Ingredients are fresh and it just adds to the flavor of the pizzas, sandwiches and pasta dishes! Drinks include wine, beer and soft drinks. Usually a busy, festive atmosphere, big screen televisions for watching sports, plenty of seating for casual group get-togethers, birthday parties or just watching a game on a Sunday afternoon. I love that they have arcade games for kids! I give this Place 5 yummers and a hearty shout out! Woottttt!

It has been many years since we enjoyed a pizza slice from Ambrose the other day. We both enjoyed our large pizza slices and soft drinks. The slices still taste good, and the service was excellent too. We will come back again.

Old fashioned Pizza, with a good new flavor. I can go on and on about how great this place and food is . The staff is polite and good vibe . Feels like a family run business.
Parking is well lit up and abundant
For the inside of the restaurant, they have multiple TVs, which either has sports or an event playing the dining room, area is cozy with dim lighting. I recommend this place 100 times over

Whole heartedly a love and bias for Ambrose. Take that in consideration for why I gave my experience a 5 start. Because I love their food, their location. We Wifey and I can here for lunch. I wanted a sandwich and was thinking of those other joints. She suggested Ambrose and boy was she right. We both had the Italian Club. Ok you may argue too much lettuce, not enough meat. I say opposite. Love the thing sliced lettuce. The meats in the sandwich are plentiful and tasty. But the star and it has been for decades is the bread. The right composition of softness in the crust , firm middle and wonderful taste. The bread recipe is regional treasure. The staff has changed in 20 plus years but service still makes this feel like a local hangout. Keep going Ambrose I will keep being a loyal fan.
