Amber Road, anchored in the historic downtown financial district of Boston, features classic New England cuisine mixed with dynamic flavors from across the world.
The new restaurant has seasonally changing and approachable, yet refined dishes, created in the open kitchen and from the team behind downtown powerhouse Fin Point Oyster Bar & Grille. Amber Road has instantly become downtown Boston’s “it place to be,” to celebrate a good day at the office, to mingle with colleagues after work, conduct business during a power lunch, or enjoy fine wine and dining.

The definition of a Hidden Gem! We loved almost everything about Amber Road. Ambiance is cute, although acoustics were a bit loud.
Service from Ashlie was outstanding. She offered suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was pretty busy.
The food was really great, and we enjoyed everything we got. The lobster turnover was my favorite thing during the whole of this trip to Boston, and I will be thinking then when we get home. Black Truffle Chicken was also really delicious, too!
Excellent drinks and a limited but thoughtful slate of wines by the glass.
I already recommended it to a friend who was looking for a spot to dine this evening, and I would tell anyone to get in for outstanding food!

Loved this place. I was skeptical when I saw “fine dining” but I was able to sit at the bar dressed in sneakers. And happy they accepted me because the food was amazing. I got the Branzino for my main dish, and chocolate for dessert. It was a nice vibe here too, for either after work drinks; an intimate date; or to sit at the bar for some drinks and nibbles, 10/10 recommend.

There aren’t many reviews as it’s quite a new restaurant, but the service was actually fantastic. Ashlie was very attentive and helpful in helping me pick. The drinks are quite strong.
The wagyu rolls were amazing and my steak was perfect, honestly it looks quite angelic. The venue is very photogenic too if you like that sort of thing with the tree in the middle. The music was just tune after tune. I was pleasantly surprised.
Anyway going to try the chicken next time

Fantastic dinner here!! Great casual restaurant with lovely outdoor seating and flexible menu. The quality of the food definitely lives up to the prices—I really loved the pizza with mashed potatoes on it and the wagyu pappardelle was so flavorful and saucy. Lastly we couldn’t help but order the chocolate cake which was chocolatey and tasty as well. Looking forward to my next visit to try more items!

This place is gorgeous. Modern yet romantic. The ambience is chic. Loved the giant Japanese tree just sitting in the midst of the dining room. The food is amazing, absolutely everything I tried was delicious. My favorite drink- taste and presentation- was definitely the Aperol Bubbly Spritz. Can’t wait to come back.

I usually never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for Amber Road because the everything about this restaurant was absolutely divine! The food was incredible, the waiters were kind, such great service, and such a warm and cozy atmosphere. 100% recommend everyone to try it out at least once. I will definitely be back again!!!

This restaurant only gets 3 stars because the inside of the restaurant was so pretty and the r&b soundtrack was good. Other than that the food and drinks were very disappointing. My husband took me here for our anniversary and we were both extremely underwhelmed.

My friend and I made reservations for an earlier dinner on Friday. The lobster turnover was memorably delicious– it’s basically lobster on a croissant with a buttery remoulade. We also got the crab and avocado toast, which was yum but not as much of a standout as the lobster turnover. We also shared the black garlic truffle roasted chicken. The chicken was decent/average, but the sauce and mushrooms brought this up a notch. We also dipped the chicken in the lobster turnover sauce.
After our waitress let us sample 4 different wines, we decided on a bottle of Chablis to wash everything down.
Our waitress was friendly and service was perfectly fine, although it wasn’t busy that night. The ceiling had these cool metal sculptures with working fans.
