I went back a few times and the service has gotten better and the food was good. It’s best to pay by cash otherwise thet charge you a CC fee for the machine. Will be coming back.

The first review was about 2 weeks ago (May 24, 2023) and I gave it a 5 star rating (see below). Now I am giving it a ONE star review. Why?
Not because the food was bad, in fact it was good. The coffee good, eggs, potatoes good. No problem there. But because were devious between charging me one amount when I was there and then charging a different amount with the credit company.
On my receipt today it says $14.37 + $2 tip in which they gave the paper tip to the waitress instead (I’m starting to doubt it now! However, when I got home and checked my credit card company was BILLED $17.02 (which I will be disputing and see pictures). On the receipt, the final amount is scratched out.
I just looked at the one from 2 weeks ago and found out that they had overcharged my bank $13.66 when the receipt said $10.19. If alone I usually give $2 tips, but if d If not alone I give more. But both times I was alone.
This was the first review from 2 weeks ago May 24, 2023:
I had given them a 5 star review even if the waitress was a sourpuss.
The handicapped parking is on the side of the restaurant and you still have to walk. It would have been closer to walk if I had parked in a regular parking space in front. The doors are not handicap friendly for people in wheelchairs. You have to pull them open so better go there with someone to open and hold them for you. But there is space inside for a wheelchair.
So far prompt service as soon as I arrived. I asked for coffee since I was having breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs over medium, toast and home fries (the square fried ones).
It came as asked and the food was good. The coffee was ok. Not anything to write home about. The waitress was nice and prompt. I did not have to wait long to get my food. Good temperature.
The bill was not detailed though. There was only 1 set amount on it. I took pictures.
Nestled along the stunning coastline of dhermi the ambiance is relaxed and inviting, with the sound of waves adding to the charm. Service is warm and attentive, making you feel right at home!!
Highly recommend
We came in on a Friday for breakfast. A little late so it wasn’t a surprise that it wasn’t that busy. Was sat quickly, order taken quickly.
When the food came I noticed that I didn’t get what I ordered. I had ordered eggs over easy, hash browns, biscuit and gravy, bacon – the special that was on the sign outside. I received home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy. I don’t like to be the person who sends stuff back, so I just decided to eat it.
The eggs were weird, right off the bat. Over salted, and just had a taste that didn’t sit well in your mouth. The bacon was floppy and chewy. The hole fries were over salt and peppered and not crispy.
My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak omelet and pancakes. The Philly “cheesecake” omelet was a large flat omelet like egg with ground beef, cheese melted until it was watery and peppers and onions that were neither sautéed or diced. The pancake was large, and dense, so heavy that it was impossible to really enjoy even smothered in syrup.
The waitress realized she had given me the wrong food, brought me another plate of food that matched what I ordered. Unfortunately those eggs, even though they were over easy, still had the odd texture to them. The bacon was still floppy and chewy, and the hash browns were still over salted and peppered.
We didn’t finish most of the food, it was very unappetizing. I took the biscuits and gravy to my grandmother and the pancakes to my son. Who also didn’t like them and threw them away.
Over all we definitely won’t be returning. I’m not sure if we caught them in an “off” day, or if this is the norm. But we won’t be back to figure it out.
The biscuits and gravy were quite good and the Texas toast grilled cheese, although not quite melty and topped with a pickle circle, was good. The chicken and dumplings was very good and the pecan pie was as well.
The prices were incredibly low. And you really did get your money’s worth and more, tbh.
All in all it’s a good place to go and the staff are honestly exceptionally nice, speedy and helpful.
When we got there, two local deputy sheriffs were there, so we figured it must be a good spot.
