I noticed outlets for those who need to work on their laptops. I also found little vases with a few flowers or little tchotchkes throughout the cafe. It’s the little things that adds up for beautiful and serene vibe.
On certain nights, they do have open-mic so sign up and have some fun!
This place has that classic small-town charm that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. It’s right on Main Street, so the location is great for people-watching or just taking a breather in the middle of your day. I had a cortado and a butter croissant — both were spot on. The coffee was smooth and strong, and the croissant was buttery and flaky, just how it should be. Cozy atmosphere, good coffee, and a great spot to start your morning or take a mid-day break. I’ll definitely be back.
This was legitimately one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was tasteless and undrinkable. Not to mention incredibly expensive. I ordered a cappuccino. I got roughly 6 ounces of which I spilled out five. I had high hopes for this coffee place given it stellar reviews. I wound up going to QuickChek afterwards and getting real coffee. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place unless you like tasteless expensive coffee.
I appreciate that you took the time to respond and apologize regarding the quality of the coffee. However, the tone of your reply came across as somewhat double-edged. While you expressed regret, the underlying message seemed to discourage me from sharing my honest experience publicly. Constructive criticism is not an attack—it’s feedback from a paying customer.
If the same level of attention devoted to responding to negative reviews were applied to ensuring consistent quality control, the issue might not exist in the first place. The coffee I purchased was not only disappointing in taste, but it also reflected what appears to be a broader inconsistency in preparation standards. For the price being charged, customers should reasonably expect a reliably good product. Premium pricing implies premium quality—without that consistency, the value proposition breaks down.
Rather than focusing energy on managing online commentary, I would respectfully suggest investing that effort into improving the product itself. Better sourcing, stricter preparation standards, calibration of equipment, and staff training in extraction consistency would all go much further in rebuilding trust than rebuttals on Google Reviews.
Consumers share reviews to inform others and to hold businesses accountable to the quality they advertise. If local patrons are seeking dependable coffee at a fair price, they deserve to know what they’re walking into. When a business charges above-market rates but delivers below-average quality, that discrepancy is worth noting.
I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it’s intended: as direct but honest commentary from someone who expected better.
