The place is very dark yet warm, suitable for a romantic date or cozy gathering. Definitely recommended!
We went to Ambassador for dinner and honestly, it was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Denmark!
We started with paneer tikka and lamb seekh kebab — both were spot on. The paneer was soft and full of flavor, and the lamb kebab was juicy with just the right amount of spice.
For the main course, we had butter chicken, and wow… it was next level. Super creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor — easily the best butter chicken I’ve had anywhere in Denmark.
For dessert, we tried rasmalai and crème brûlée, and both were amazing. The rasmalai was perfectly soft and fresh, and the crème brûlée was a fun twist that worked so well after all those spices.
The ambience was fantastic — cozy, stylish, and full of good vibes. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and really made the whole experience even better.
If you’re craving authentic Indian food in Copenhagen, Ambassador is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go again!
The food has the best flavors, the service is very good and the ambience is amazing.
This time we spent some time at the bar and I recommend to definitely try it. You can sir and have nice conversations while having a drink.
Edit: Came back another time, I applaud the staff and service for their attention to detail.
All staff were exceptional.
Excellent choice
We’re lucky to land on this restaurant in our day #1 being at Copenhagen.
1- Super excellent service, very friendly waitresses. Thanks to the lady from Nepal at the reception.
2- Super flavorful food, authentic. I couldn’t find a mistake.
3- Interior design is very well chosen. Lots of details and wooden elements. Color combination , the music all very well thought of.
4- Prices are a bit high, however, worth it.
We’ve ordered:
– Lamb chops (tandoori): MUST TRY. Super tender and flavorful, slightly spicy.
– Samosa : MUST TRY.
– Chicken Korma: MUST TRY.
– Naan: Crispy and light.
– Forgot the name of the dessert, ask about it. It’s like cottage cheese with rose water and saffron, pistachios. It’s a must try.
Strongly recommended
Note: prior reservations is required due to limited tables.
5 starts all the way
The lobster was well worth the spend and made us sad that we live so far away! We wish we could return again soon!
Some recommendations: trio chicken, punjab paneer, daal makhani and Kofta with mango lassi. Of course you should try some rasmalai as the dessert 🙂
This is a great meal to plan into your vacation in Copenhagen.
