Me and my mom stopped by the place a few min. Before it closed. The owner and 5th e employees were really nice and friendly. The food was really good. I got the moo and cluck sandwich because I my favorite food is breakfast and got that one that was recommended. Totally come again sometime.

Such a great deli! I was craving a hearty sandwich and found the Amazing Deli in downtown Midland. The employee working the counter was very helpful, giving good suggestions for sandwich choices as well as having the other half of my sandwich pre-wrapped since I only wanted half. The prices were very fair, and the Smokey Chicken sandwich I had was flavorful and well portioned. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back!

I go around the US to try as many delis and diners as I can. My standard test is the reuben sandwich. If you can make me a simple and delicious reuben correctly you run a good shop and know what you’re doing. My reuben was a basic style #3 on the menu.
Excellent rye. Perfectly buttered and even more perfectly toasted. But the real trick is having the bread and cheese stay warm but the kraut to be cold. They nailed it. Perfect reuben. And done fast too. They even remembered the pickle on the side. I’ll be coming back often. Staff is very polite as well. And to the man who made my sandwich. Hey boss, I owe you a bigger tip. Remind me next time I’m in. Thoroughly happy customer.

I have not been here in over 15 years due to moving away and the Ed’s Reuben was just as I remember. This is by far the best place to get a sandwich in Midland.

Probably the lamest amount of meat you could put on a sandwich. I mean I’m not sure who their targeting with the lawyer’s deluxe but a person is not going to order Corned Beef if they are trying to lose weight!! (Turkey maybe??) Finished this thinly dressed sandwich and I’m still hungry. Paid $11 and I should of asked for triple meat… which I’m guessing would have costed me $33 for the acceptable amount of meat on my sandwich. Amazing Deli?? not sure I’ll be coming back. I wasn’t amazed.

Food is mid as heck and things feel funky…something changed here. Food is different, management seems different. Idk. It’s not the same as it used to be and the food is just nothing special at all. I say this, having been all around the United States and gone to many many delis/sandwich shops…I’m no expert but I’ve had PLENTY of sandwiches and subs from around the world. The best chicken salad sandwich I have had, and it was on pita bread. My husband had a BBQ chicken sandwich and really liked it. The pickle spears were good. The place was clean, bathrooms were clean. The service was fast and friendly. I would definitely go back.
