My wife and I dined in the teepee and absolutely loved the ambiance and setup. It was an amazing atmosphere and we enjoyed the service. The food was also top notch. We did have to wait an extra 15 minutes to be seated for them to get everything set up, but we were on Santa Fe time and that time was well spent sipping on a deliciously boozy house margarita.

This was the first meal I had upon moving to Santa Fe, and my goodness did they set a high bar. The duck was stunning and maybe the best I’ve ever had. The desserts and cocktails were on point as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Dinner on a Saturday night with live music was amazing! Service was fast, food was tasty and entertainment was absolutely mesmerizing!
Drinks were perfect! Choosing the whiskey in Old Fashioned is unique offering much appreciated! The cucumber mint mule was soooo good.
The Lemon salmon was mouth watering flaky and so light and flaky. The chicken pot pie was equally as good. Perfect puff pastry crust and a creamy hearty sauce with plenty of chicken and veggies.
We ended the night with creme brulee per the suggestion of our waitress and it was terrific!

Lovely restaurant located within a hotel. The restaurant is situated outdoors but was somehow cool and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful music, and wonderful staff. We just had apps and they were delicious. Nachos, hummus, and enchiladas were all on the happy hour menu and were full sized and tasty!

I want to start by giving a huge shoutout to Leidy, the server who made everything even better, if that was even possible.

The boutique hotel in which the restaurant is located, is a jewel. One of the most beautiful in Santa Fe. They really paid attention to details, and restaurant Amaya is not far behind.

Everything, with the exception of one of the two elk medallions on my plate, was exceptional. One of the medallions was a little overcooked and tough, the other one was fantastic. My wife and I both enjoyed the Hacienda Mojito, which is a great deal coming from two Miami long time residents.

I strongly recommend the Chimayo Soup. The chile used in the soup is mild and has a surprisingly nutty flavor profile at the end. The queso fresco on top added a salty finish and stringy grand finale. DELICIOUS!!!

The sesame crusted Salmon was well executed and came on a bed of risotto, which I thought was phenomenal. We also ordered the Cobb Salad. Props to them, as the salad was super fresh (no wilted vegetables) and the light and fruity dressing complemented it perfectly.

My wife only orders Creme Brûlée for dessert, and while I hardly ever even try it, as I find it boring, this one was the exception. It wasn’t too sweet and had a nice creamy consistency expected of custards or natillas. They definitely know their desserts; however, my type of dessert comes in liquid form and it’s called Porto. Their Fonseca Porto 20 years really hit the spot and put an exclamation point on a great meal. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Outstanding service and happy hour Unfortunately, I came to enjoy the beautiful fire place and 2 lady’s literally pulled up the large chairs to cover the entire fire place from everyone else. It’s disrespectful and selfish. Out of town folks or local? Doubt local, they would have more sense than this!

Great experience! My husband and I ate here several times during our stay in Santa Fe and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Restaurant and bar staff were friendly, helpful and food came out quickly. They offer several vegetarian and gluten free items for anyone with dietary restrictions. We also enjoyed the Native American flute player who plays near the hotel bar and restaurant several times a week.

Atmosphere: cracking fireplace, cozy dim lighting, subtle natuve american flute in the background. Beautiful decor and cozy seating.
Food: phenomenal. Food was flavourful. The pan seared scallops had the perfect texture and flavor. The pork belly was a bit more tough than anticipated, but still delicious.
Service: attentive, kind, helpful, and anticipated needs.
Will be returning.

What a delightful restaurant hidden in a hotel! Literally some of the best food in a lovely atmosphere with exceptional service in Santa Fe. I had a Watermelon Tomato Gazpacho, a Spinach Strawberry Salad with Fried Artichoke Hearts and Grilled Shrimp as well as an Almond Pear Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful! I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Thank you for creating such an incredible establishment.

Well, I gave a three and that’s because I’d give a 5 for the part time chef who not only puts love but honor in his work and attitude which shows in his artistry of food. It saddens me that the full time chef here has the worst attitude, is lazy, and, well idk must hate his job because it shows in taste, quality, and the plain and same disrespect that his gives customers as well as his food. I’ll make sure I know who is there before I order from here again. Because I would know every time just by looking at the plate. So, sad… I miss the days no matter what career was chosen people took pride in their work. That’s just not the case anymore. I remember why that was one career path I would not choose because if I’m not happy my food will show it. Go here definitely but if you don’t like it… you will know it’s not the right chef. Please trade places! Sorry. Oh I’ll add photos soon so you can understand one part of it.
