Here’s the deal. So far all I’ve gotten is pizza. I like the pizza quite a bit. They make it how I like it and no complaints.
I decided to order some pasta because I saw they have smooth red sauce. I cant eat chunky cause of texture and other issues with it. The guy on the phone sounded like he had no idea there were 2 kinds of red sauce (smooth and chunky as stated in the menu).
I was very specific about SMOOTH red sauce. I did not get that and now I’ll be spending way too much time removing all the chunks just to have to microwave my restaurant meal. Super sad. Guess I’m forced to strictly pizza here and will have to go around the corner for other food. Feel like I wasted 12+ dollars on a TV dinner.

On the Pizza Hunt for the Pizza Hunters App. Regular Slice had a lot of cheese and and not much sauce. The crust was ok. Not my favorite slice in Sussex County. The service was good and people were nice..Parking was not a pleasant experience.

Amato’s is one of the BEST restaurants in the Newton area. We order at least 2 -3 times a week and we are never disappointed. Today I tried the Penne Vodka and Meatballs for the 1st time….they are excellent!!! The staff is wonderful and we even had them cater a party for us recently and everyone is still talking about the food!!!

Amato’s is our absolute favorite pizza place around. The food is incredible and a great price. Their window slices are the best!! I highly recommend stopping in and saying hi to their welcoming staff and calm atmosphere. I highly recommend trying their chicken parm garlic knot sandwich.

Amato’s Pizza is absolutely fantastic. We knew their pizza was good, so we decided to order a wrap and a burger last night. My daughter said the wrap was one of the best she has ever had, and the Amato’s Burger was absolutely fantastic, as well as cooked to perfection. When I called in the order they told me the driver was busy so it would be about 40 minutes, and the food arrived in exactly 20 minutes. The gentleman doing the delivery was beyond pleasant and polite. These are good people running a good local business. Please support them, and try that Amato’s Burger.

I can not tell you how amazing this food is! Flavorful, an abundance of food with every dish even the pizza slices alone are huge!
