If you’re looking for a quick inexpensive bite this is the place to go! They have an excellent menu and their food is consistently delicious and fresh! My husband and I are locals and on this trip we got the chicken parmesan sandwich and an original Italian.

Before arriving I wanted to try the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, but after asking the gentleman taking my order what is best, I took his recommendation and went with the Meatball Parmigiana. I know I chose correctly! It was delicious and even my Italian wife approved of the tomato sauce’s authenticity – tasted like tomatoes and not sugar. It was well priced too. I would love to try more of their food, and if I lived here I’d be a regular.

A fun eclectic place for a lite lunch. The sandwiches are the main stage, but they apparently have pizza, though I would not say this is a pizza restaurant. It is a food truck (seemingly permanent) on a little pier area. Kinda a nice place to eat outside looking over the harbor.
The sandwiches were very hoagie -ish, but totally different veggies. Green pepper, onion, pickles, tomato, olives. But the oil/vinegar were very philly-esque.

Service is very minimum basic interactions. Food is never quite cooked fully. Pizza is always uncooked dough on the bottom. To the point you can’t eat it because you can taste the uncooked dough. It’s not a place I would spend money again.

I appreciate everything these guys do to bring Amato’s to Rockland! They drive from Augusta daily… I had the grilled sausage sandwich, and it was delicious.

Their sandwiches are awesome! I went to order a large “Sandwich that started it all” and it was just under 8$! That’s a crazy deal! Especially for the prices for sandwiches around here, and with this place it’s actually quality.

Great place on Rockland Waterfront, to grab a sandwich or pizza and watch the ferries coming and going. From the Steak Sub to their Italians… delicious. Very nice people working to make your order, fast, fresh and delicious!

Nice little food truck. Very serviceable, tasty lunches, good for a break from work. Polite staff. Limited drink choices, but tons of delicious meals, including one heck of a cheesesteak by new England standards. Avoid the hoagies and pizza– average. Stay for the steaks and club wrap.
