It’s a cute mom-and-pop style Italian restaurant off the main road. Has a nice cozy atmosphere with good service. Overall, I had no complaints with the food or the service (sacchetti was amazing), but I struggle to justify the prices they are now charging. The prices have risen pretty dramatically over the past year with most plates now starting at almost $20. If you add protein or swap in pasta instead of vegetables… The prices add up quick. Would love to keep going back, but unfortunately I just don’t think they are worth it at this point.

Delicious specials and friendly service for dinner at 6pm. My family of 7 ate a tasty crab linguine, kids pizza and kids spaghetti, fish special, and paired that with a tasty selection of wine. The desserts were a hit with the kids, coffee creme brulee and the tiramisu was a bit too firm (refrigerated) for my taste (it was difficult to cut into). We would dine here again. They have a cute photo opportunity outside their restaurant.

Perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant, right in between South Tampa and Seminole Heights. Unpretentious, nicely priced, good service and delicious. An added bonus for their BYOB optional system, at a decent price. We will be back.

We walked into a neat, orderly , small dining room. This was our first visit and someone had recommended it . The set pricing of most of the entrees ($18.99) were “off putting”. We felt some plates may have warranted that cost others not …(meat, time consuming etc…) but even our chicken Parmesan wasn’t worth the price. It appeared with three small thin portions of chicken ( dry) a spoonful of sauce and only one piece of the three pieces had cheese on top. Left us to remark why a whole breast wasn’t served. It looked like the kitchen cut off various pieces of other pieces of chicken.The fried potatoes were void of any spices. Actually the fresh veggies were the only thing I ate. We ordered an individual pizza that was ok but too spicy. We ate half of it and took the rest home with the dry chicken. We eventually threw our leftovers away.
To be fair the service was good , may have been because there were only two other tables in use at the dinner hour. Wish I had taken pictures to back up my review.

I felt nostalgic eating at Amaretto’s. The food was definitely the star of the show. I was also impressed with the variety on their menu. I will have to go back to try some of their other dishes.

The Chicken Marsala was very good! The potatoes and mixed vegetables were seasoned and cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the Coffee Creme Brulee. Amazing!

Such a cute little restaurant, with lots of beautiful artwork, and really relaxing music playing. The staff was the absolute sweetest, answering all of our questions and being so polite. The food all came out so beautifully plated, and the flavors were out of this world. Everything was delicious, so fresh and full of flavor. And I didn’t even finish my food and I felt full. So quiet and calming, very memorable experience. I can’t wait to go back and try more food. Highly recommend immediately giving this place a try.

Great service and even better food. I had a wonderful broccoli soup and the grouper picatta special was fantastic. The place was empty on a Friday night, so I don’t think you’ll need a reservation here.
