Absolutely Incredible Indian Thali Experience!
I had the pleasure of enjoying this thali at Amaravati Indian Cuisine, and it was hands down one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had! Every single item on the plate was full of authentic flavor and beautifully prepared.
From the perfectly spiced curries to the fluffy basmati rice, soft chapatis, crispy papad, and rich dal—everything was top-notch. The variety was impressive: creamy paneer, savory chana saag, spicy gobi, tangy pickle, cooling raita, and even a comforting sweet dish to end the meal. The biryani had just the right amount of heat and aroma, and the portion size was generous.
This thali is a true celebration of Indian cuisine. If you’re looking for a satisfying, balanced, and flavor-packed meal, look no further. Highly recommend!
Nah that was probably done since at least 8pm. Like I said it was ice cold, not even warm.
Not sure if they paid attention to the order from their website but yeah disappointing.
Plus sides, food tasted great, and it’s reasonably priced compared to other Indian restaurants in Manchester. Staff was friendly as well.
The restaurant has limited seating for 6-8 groups and very minimal, which shouldn’t bother most people. Butter chicken was great and the lamb biryani was great even though it was cold, delicious. Garlic and cheese naan were also fantastic but again, iceeeeee cold and soggy since they had been in the bag for so long.
Great food, poor execution with regards to paying attention to pickup times.
Overall a 4 out of 5 because the taste hits and it’s on point along with pricing being perfect.
All the times I have been there I was treated with exceptional hospitality..food taste real real good..
Pretty calm and soothing atmosphere playing some south Indian or indian songs on the background..Moreover all the prerequisite for an absolute quality food experience
My best dish is non-vegetarian thali from there..and the pricing is so so reliable and I believe nobody can beat them..
1. Chicken Appetizer ( ordered Chicken Majestic)– For the price, the portion felt quite small. Also, the salt and lemon were quite overpowering. I’m not sure if this was an isolated incident or your usual preparation, but the salt content was especially concerning—it was high enough to potentially trigger a health issue like a heart failure flare-up. If this level of salt is standard, it might be helpful to include a note about it in the dish description.
Biryani – The flavor was enjoyable, but again, the salt level was noticeably high. I’ve had biryani from several restaurants around Hartford and across the U.S., and I’ve never encountered this issue elsewhere.
I really hope this is taken as constructive input—I’d love to keep supporting your food if these concerns are addressed.
The entire catering process with Ganesh was smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend Amaravati for both their food and service!
