Amaral’s is one of the best seafood places around – period. The white chowder is not too thin or thick and the taste is exactly fresh. The fish and chips is a local favorite. The have a large and small fish and chips. I had a scallop roll for $11. Family owned and they’ve been around for 40 years. 10 stars best chowder.

Best fish and chips around, with even better clam cakes! Portions are insane for the price, and everything tasted amazing. The clam cakes are the perfect mix of batter to clam, which is a rarity! By far the best fish and chip value I’ve experienced. I ordered 2 large meals and half dozen clam cakes, fed 4 people. And still had some left for another 1 meal. All of this, for less than 40 bucks. Location is small but there are tables inside. Generally is a small wait regardless of calling in advance/ordering online, but I attribute this to possibly waiting till you arrive to actually fry the food. Works out as the food is always freshly cooked, no mushy soft soggy containers when you get home.

If you want the real Rhode Island experience of clam cakes and chowder, this is the place… Super friendly staff and superb food… They have three different kinds of chowder, all loaded with clams, and the clam cakes are the perfect size and consistency. Delicious! Small restaurant, but cozy and you feel like family… You will not regret visiting this staple of Warren! We will definitely be back when we are in town.

Fish and chips was amazing. Large thick pieces of tender fish in a light and tasty batter. We drove 20 min from Providence to give them a shot, and we’ll definitely return to give more of the menu a try.
