had dinner at Amara at Paraiso and the experience was truly enjoyable. The atmosphere is beautifully curated, with lovely outdoor seating where you can breathe in a romantic and charming ambiance — perfect for a special evening.
The food is excellent, well presented, and high quality. The only small downside is the wine selection, which feels a bit limited compared to the overall level of the restaurant.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a pleasant evening in a beautiful setting while enjoying great food.

This was an amazing experience with a great view. The manager Casey has really good energy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. We got ceviche, crab claws and oysters, try them Johnny Walker black label in a ramekin. Dip the oyster in black label and dress them like you do. The leche de tiger was buenismo, very respectable for a restaurant that’s not Peruvian. The drinks had an amazing presentation. We sat outside and while it was in the 40s and freezing, they made it cozy with heaters and blankets.

The music was banging and I wish it was a little louder, but I can see how that wouldn’t be for everyone. Definitely has a great vibe.

I would rate this 5 stars for 4 star pricing. Absolutely worth going.

I recently dined at Amara at Paraiso and overall had a mixed experience. The food was great and the drinks were even better …. everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented.
The service wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t particularly attentive either. When we needed something, we had to flag down whoever was nearby instead of our assigned server checking in consistently. What truly left a bad impression was the end of our lunch. Our bill was $183, we paid $200 and left the change as the tip. Our waitress, Carolena, came back to the table to let us know we didn’t leave enough, mentioning that people usually leave her at least 18%. She did say she knows it’s not mandatory, but felt the need to tell us anyway.
Quite frankly, this has never happened to me before ……..ever. Tipping is discretionary and based on the overall experience, and being approached about the tip after paying made the experience feel uncomfortable and awkward.

Ironically, this was the very first restaurant I chose to start my dining reviews and content with. I was excited about the ambiance and overall vibe, so it’s unfortunate that the experience ended that way. The food and atmosphere are great, but I hope management addresses situations like this so guests can leave feeling just as good as the meal tasted.

I had brunch at Amara and it was a great experience. The price-value is absolutely worth it — an all-you-can-eat brunch with live music makes it feel like such a treat.

The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance truly stands out. The live music creates an amazing vibe that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a fun and lively brunch.

From the moment we arrived, the setting set the tone for a truly lovely evening. The outdoor patio stretches right along the water’s edge, offering unobstructed views of the gentle waves. We were a party of 3 and picked a table right at the front of the patio, where the water view was most striking, the layout gave each table a sense of privacy despite the open setting. The kitchen delivered solid, flavorful dishes that complemented the setting nicely. Each plate arrived well‑presented, and the flavors were balanced—nothing overly flashy, but everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, the drinks fell short of expectations. Our server explained that the bartender was dealing with a malfunctioning mixer, which clearly impacted the quality of the cocktails. The price point leans toward the higher end, reflecting both the prime waterfront location and the upscale décor. While the cost may feel steep, the combination of the stunning view, attentive service, and overall ambiance makes it a worthwhile splurge for special occasions. For a memorable date night or celebration, the venue is definitely worth a visit

Excellent time over at Amara, Filip made the experience amazing alongside the Amara team.

I was celebrating my anniversary / early valentine’s day with my girlfriend and we’ve been wanting to go here for a while now.

They beautifully sat us over on the deck infront of the ocean, with the most beautiful view of the city.

We were guided, menu was explained thoroughly, and suggestions were up the roof and nailed.

We tried out the amazing Tuna Carpaccio, The Amara Salad( insanely good and refreshing), the Charred Octupus (delicious), Sweet Potatoes, and the seafood Parrillada (insane MUST HAVE). Everything was divine and delicious and out right just done with love.

They later surprised with a dulce de Leche flan that was just out of this world, alongside a candle to celebrate our anniversary.

Cocktails were great refreshing and delicious, and the wine selection was on par with the food we acquired.

Would definitely go back here again a million times if I could and relive that first time experience.

Thank you so much to the Amara team and Filip for making this experience unforgettable!

Amara Paraiso is my absolute favorite place to have dinner! I love being here and enjoying both the food and the beautiful view. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax and spend time with people you love. The food is amazing every single time, and the last cocktail I had is now my new favorite — the Frojito is a must-try! Everyone I’ve brought with me has loved the place just as much as I do. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem! One of our favorites. Wonderful beachfront (probably one of Miami’s best) atmosphere under lush trees. Amazing seafood. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner.

Highly recommend Arroz verde and the Amaro salad.

Very very beautiful location, and everything is nice there, but the food was not worth the money well not what i expected, I had the burger Very salty, and the steak it was dry, dont get me wrong it wasn’t like horrible but it was not what I expected. Maybe that day it was bad. I am not saying go, but I just expected more.and they have very nice park/ dog park next to it. And another thing I didn’t understand it was happy hour, but it’s only at the bar not at your table, I did not like the drink selection either. But the location is amazing.and please tell the host to be more inviting.

I’ve come to Amara a couple times, and each time I enjoy the beautiful miami views by the water, the cocktails and the food. This time around I had to send back the steak because for 79$ a cold steak I don’t think so. However our waiter made it right and brought a new one , everything came out at a reasonable time. I still think what you pay for is the view because the steak felt like a waste of money I’ve had a lot better for a lot less. It is miami though, the dessert made up for it a bit very creamy and tasty. The glass of wine was delicious and the oysters very fresh. Still not sold on the steak I recommend you skip it.
