Very quick to seat us, even though it was super busy and game night for the Toronto Raptors. Service was fabulous. Food was delicious, though pasta was far too al dente. They refired our dishes without hesitation. The bolognese sauce was excellent. The chicken and mushroom fusilli was very good. Initially we were seated at a lovely table, however, we decided to sit at the pass to watch the action in the kitchen and to get away from the very loud atmosphere in the restaurant….it is not at all quiet. Overall, a positive experience, and we would definitely dine here again.
Note: The only pasta that is freshly made is rigatoni.

This place delivers every time without fail. It’s become our ‘go to’ neighbourhood restaurant when we just want great food, drinks and service without having to worry about not having a reservation. The service staff are attentive, but not overbearing like many city centre food places… as a Brit I like that, I don’t want to be interrupted every 5 mins by over enthusiastic servers. The food is superb, one of my favourite dishes is the Arancini, it’s tastes sublime and it’s a good sized serving. The Bruschetta is great too. The Fettuccini Al Limone is by far my fave main course… again the portion size is good and the zingy lemon sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had. Other dishes I can recommend are the Chicken & Mushroom Fusilli, Nonna’s Gnocchi and the Mushroom and Truffle spaghetti. Great cocktails too! This is a great restaurant and I’m more than happy to give it a 5* rating.

Food was very hearty and delicious! The rigatoni had the perfect balance of flavours – if you love bolognese, you’ll love Amano’s. The meatballs were amazing. The texture, the flavour, the pairing of sauces, and the bread.
Great place to grab a bite, and it’s at a super convenient spot too!

Amano is a wonderfully convenient high quality restaurant with a cozy atmosphere right inside the entrance to Union Station. Had a reservation but there was plenty of room for us. Great for groups meeting up before events or just a really nice place to get some high quality food and drink. Great wine selection too!!! Will visit again. Thank you Nicole for the very hospitable service.

What a wonderful experience here. Came here before the leafs game, Emily was our server and she was amazing. She had mentioned what makes Amano so great is because of the great hearts from the servers and the great food from the kitchen – and she was absolutely right.

Mixed experience. The hostess was super friendly and attentive and the food was pretty tasty. However it took nearly 45 minutes to get our food. Also the lobster ravioli was ridiculously small. As you can see in the picture we got literally 5 raviolis. That’s barely even an appetizer nevermind a main course dish.

The calamari has artichoke in it, which is special/different. I really like it. The overall food quality surprised me on the upside as my expectations were not high based on the location with a convenience premium. I would definitely revisit or order takeout!

Great service, food was good! It was a bit busy during lunch time but we didn’t wait much at all. We all ordered pastas and enjoyed it well…The owner gave a free tiramisu for birthday celebration as well.

This was our first time going here, and I want to start by saying the service was exceptional, especially for a restaurant inside a station. It was really, really good.
Overall, I’d rate it about an 8 out of 10. My only issue was that some of the food was slightly overcooked. The pasta was a solid 8 out of 10, the meatballs were 10 out of 10, and the Caesar salad was okay. It’s a Caesar salad, so I didn’t expect much. The calamari was a little overcooked as well, but still good overall.

Food was very tasty, creamy sauce and light. Honestly, we would have ordered them take-out on our way back but our train departure were so tight.
Place becomes quickly crowded once noon hit.
