I had goat, chipati, and greens upon recommendation and they were SO GOOD. I’m glad I also got the plantains. Just wonderful. And the service was perfect. Do yourselves a favor and go get some.

The food is absolutely delicious, with amazing flavors that keep me coming back—I’m honestly addicted! Absolutely AMAZING African food! If you’re hesitant to try it, don’t be! You will not be disappointed whatsoever! I got their goat meat, jollof rice, and fufu – 10/10 for everything! The meat was about as tender as you can get it, and the flavor was next level! ❤️The ladies at this cart are both so beautiful and friendly! ❤️thank you!

Quite literally she best food I’ve ever had! My daughter and I shared The coconut halibut and flat bread. It was incredible and the portion is really big. The veggies were fresh and the sauce was so incredible. I want to try everything on the menu. The oxtail looked incredible. I’ve been missing out on African food my whole life.

Kenyan food truck and I had the Jamaican oxtails and it was awesome. Amani’s menu is kinda of a mix of East and West African dishes, mostly eastern. The menu is very simple and easy to navigate. I’ve been to Kenya a couple times over the past couple years . The kichumbari and pilau tasted just as good as anything I had in Kenya either at a restaurant or at someone’s home. I’m happy, can’t wait to go back and try their ugali and chapati with the chicken or fish. Oh and staff is very welcoming and helpful.

I love to explore different cuisines and had to try this spot. I asked the lady at the register which she recommended between the goat and oxtail – and without hesitation she recommended the goat. So good! It reminded me so much of a dish in the Philippines. Great service as well, really friendly.

Second visit and it was just as good as the first. The goat is cooked perfectly and goes so well with the chapati. It’s rare to find food this good paired with such lovely service.
