Busy on Saturday evening for a reason. Got the honey hot pizza and a cheesesteak. The pizza had a thin crust, cooked to perfection. Cupped pepperoni and a good quality sauce. The cheesesteak had a good roll and the meat was seasoned well. Not a ton of meat ,but just enough. About a 25 minute ride for me, but may be my new go to spot. Highly recommend.

Meal was nice. Entree, salad and garlic knots. Portions were good. Prices were reasonable. Drove 30 minutes to get there. I would probably not go out of my to go there. But, if I was in the area I would stop again.

We started our meal with the Hot Honey Pizza, which comes topped with pepperoni, hot honey, and grated reggiano. We added ricotta cheese to ours, and wow, what an incredible choice! The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust had that perfect balance of crisp and chew, and the hot honey gave each bite the right amount of sweet heat. It’s a must-try pizza pie!

While waiting for our entrees, we were given complimentary bread knots, a nice touch, but we decided to save room for the main courses.

For my entrée, I ordered the Drunken Chicken Parmigiana. When I asked about which pasta was freshest, our server went to check with the kitchen and came back to let me know it was linguine that day, an impressive level of service. The chicken cutlets were huge, and the vodka sauce was outstanding: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The fresh linguine had that tender-yet-firm texture that makes homemade pasta so special.

My son ordered the Chicken Marsala with spaghetti and really enjoyed it. He said the Marsala wine sauce had great flavor, and again, the portion size was generous enough that he couldn’t quite finish it.

The new dining area is spacious, beautifully designed, and creates a comfortable atmosphere whether you’re there for a family dinner or a casual night out. The service was excellent! Attentive without being overbearing, and our drinks were always refilled quickly.

A quick tip: they do charge a small additional fee if you pay with a credit card (I believe around 3%), so I recommend bringing cash to avoid that extra charge.

There’s also plenty of parking, making it convenient and stress-free to visit.

Overall, Amalio’s Pizza & Pasta is a gem. From the warm service to the homemade pasta and innovative pizza combinations, everything feels crafted with care. If you’re looking for authentic Italian comfort food in a welcoming space, this is definitely a place you’ll want to visit again and again.

Loved this place! Our server was super friendly & excited about the menu which of course made us excited to try their food! We got a “drunken grandma” pizza with honey hot sauce — and holy crap this was PHENOMENAL. I already can’t wait to go back try their homemade pastas!

Decided to try a new Italian takeout restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I shared a small Pepperoni pizza and a cheesesteak. My husband really liked the pizza a lot. I thought it was good but the real star for me was the cheesesteak – I have not had a better cheesesteak in this area – it was delicious. It came in a seeded roll and it was still crunchy when we got home to eat it (IYKYK). So far, I highly recommend ordering from here.

Absolutely disappointed and disgusted.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from Amalio’s Pizza on Saturday — just a sandwich, soup, and a salad. After already waiting about 20 minutes past our pickup time, we finally got our food and took it home. A few bites into my salad, I picked something up with my fork not realizing what it was. My boyfriend looked at it and immediately told me to stop eating… because there was a WORM in my salad (pictured above).

We called the restaurant right away and spoke with a manager who gave us nothing but attitude. He told us he “made 1,000 salads that day” and that we could bring it back for a new one. We explained that we were completely disgusted and just wanted a refund, but he repeated that we’d have to come back.

When we arrived, one of the girls behind the counter looked just as horrified as we were and got Amalio. He took the salad, picked through it with his bare fingers, then handed it off to be thrown out. We again asked for a refund. He asked how we paid, we told him online, and he essentially told us we’d have to handle the refund ourselves since it was through the third-party site. Still not a single apology.

After contacting the third-party company ourselves, we eventually did receive a full refund, which I appreciate — but again, we had to take those matters into our own hands because the restaurant refused to help beyond throwing away the salad.

I understand they’re a busy restaurant, but treating your customers with a little more respect and empathy goes a long way. Had the situation been handled professionally, with even a basic apology, this review likely wouldn’t exist. Between the worm in my food, the attitude, and the complete lack of accountability, I won’t be returning — and I’d be cautious about what you order here.

Wanted to share we had dinner last night and food was great! Love the new room! But wanted to point out the bus boy was just terrific! You don not see many young adults who take pride in working anymore. He was very attentive to our table, and my grand daughter had gotten sick. He was so helpful and did not bat an eye to clean it up, and was very pleasant! Great job!! He was raised well… Looking forward to coming back soon !

This place is an absolute gem! We had the drunken chicken cutlet parm sandwich and the sausage peppers and onions sandwich.

Both sandwiches were absolutely fantastic! The cheese pull was impressive. The drunken sauce was delicious!

I can’t wait to go back again with friends

We ate here on a Saturday night. There was no wait to be seated. I got 2 pieces of square pie, chicken parm, and chicken Marsala. The food was meh. The square pie was good, very basil heavy which I liked. They only make two kinds of pasta in house(linguine and angel hair) The portions were huge for what you pay. The vodka sauce was a little watery. The chicken Marsala lacked flavor. The bread was cold, it would have been amazing warm. The atmosphere is very cute but the food was lacking. Overall not sure if I’d come back.
