What a surprise when you get home and see this. Pizza was smaller than most places and honestly I wish we can drive back and let them taste it. The sauce has no flavor. We are local and were excited to see the reviews but honestly this was a bad experience. Flavor and size very disappointed. 🙁

Amalfi Trattoria was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.
The food was outstanding – authentic, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients.
Every dish tasted homemade and perfectly balanced, just like true Italian cuisine should be.
The service was excellent: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I felt taken care of without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and delicious meal.
One of the best Italian meals I’ve had in New York.
Highly recommended – I will definitely be back!

This Italian restaurant is a true standout, with warm, friendly vibes and it always feels wonderfully welcoming. The food is exceptional in every sense. Each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flavors. The pizza is among the best I’ve had in the area.
The service elevates the experience even further. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, genuinely friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They always make me valued and comfortable any time I come in for a visit.
Altogether, this restaurant excels in food, atmosphere, and service. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking for genuine Italian food and a great atmosphere. It’s a regular lunch spot any time Im passing by!

This is the one pizza place in the Hudson Valley I genuinely crave nonstop. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and made with care—you can taste it every time. The Italian Flag and Nonna’s pie are favorites for a reason. Do yourself a favor and try them!

Highly recommend. Best pizza you can get around here. My girlfriend is Gluten Free too and they accommodated her with GF Penne Ala Vodka and a grilled eggplant Parm, she said it was delicious. 10/10! Go here! Support local business! You WONT get a better slice in the area!

If you have ever had pizza in NYC then you know the level that pizza can reach. Crunchy tasty bread, fresh ingredients, melt cheese. My mouth waters just thinking about it. When I moved to the Newburgh area I had fears that I would never taste like that pizza again without a journey of at least two hours.
FEAR NOT, people of the area!
Almafi Trattoria does a great job of capturing everything you want from a NYC pizza. The crust has an on-point crunch, the sauce is tangy and not too sweet, and the cheese is wonderfully melty. Do not hesitate to order pizza from here. You’re in good hands!
Asidr from pizza, everything we’ve ordered from here has been delicious! Obviously some items are better eaten in than out, but that’s a you problem. We hughly recommend ordering from here.
My #1 recommendation is the Nonna pie. Add pepperoni for perfection.

A peaceful outdoor atmosphere with Italian music and the best burger I’ve ever had – fresh mozzarella, fresh avocado, chipotle sauce, a juicy burger, and perfectly medium-cooked fries. Worth every penny, and I will definitely come back again!

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant and it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, with rich flavors and authentic dishes that truly captured the essence of Italy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. The outdoor seating added a charming touch, making it an ideal spot for a beautiful evening. Best of all, the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality of food. Highly recommend!

With restaurants, consistency is key. We had been getting pizza here at least once a week for about two months – and the pizza was always outstanding. Then one day we received not one but two incredibly burnt pizzas. You know the kind; where the cheese has that scorched look, the crust is hard as a rock, and every bite is dry and tasteless. I get it, pizzas get overcooked every now and then. But when that happens you should remake it, not send it to your customers. That was a few weeks ago, we haven’t gone back since.

Place just opened and I figured I would give the pizza a try. Ordered takeout and the pizza was fresh out of the oven when I got there and looked amazing with a nice crisp crust. Opening the box when I got home, and it did not disappoint. Super thin crust like your favorite NYC/North Jersey slice, a lot thinner than what you normally find here. Sauce was nice marinara with touch of basil and cheese was good and delicious. Garlic knots were awesome – soft with lots of garlic butter flavor. The wings were good as well.
But the pizza was the one that really stood out and we’ll definitely be back.
