Reviews
We had a buffet for 32 people and there was plenty of room. The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented, including a caprese salad with burrata, meatballs, a house salad, Rigatoni Bolognese, Beef in a red wine sauce, pesto penne, a chicken dish with smoked mozzarella in a cream sauce, a delicious eggplant parmigiana, veggies and potatoes, 4 different pizzas, and tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. To say we were stuffed is an understatement. All of the food was very, very good.
We then hosted a welcome party for an additional 30 or 40 people, with drinks and pizzas. Plenty of space with a good wine selection! They dimmed the lights for us and turned up the music and everyone had a great time!
Maybe the most outstanding thing is the staff and service. Excellent service with a smile and they went above and beyond to ensure our party was enjoyed by all.
Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it if you are considering it for an event.
I left a message for Enoteca, which they did not even bother to return. I saw the marketing manager at the Marina Bar and he didn’t even acknowledge me despite our speaking in person at Enoteca and our email exchanges.
The restaurant can improve in several areas, such as, timeliness, food preparation, and customer service.
1) Timeliness. The restaurant opened over 1 hour later than advertised on the website, establishment sign, and menus.
2) Food preparation. There was no milk available for lattes. In addition, there was a long black hair in the breakfast burrito.
3) Customer service. I called 3 days in advance to make arrangements. The reservation was for a party of 5 on 5/19 @ 10:00am when the restaurant opened. When my party arrived we were all astounded by the dead silent atmosphere. After calling the restaurant there was still no response. Gil arrived around 10:30am and call the opener for the facility while my party and I waited. I relayed to Gil “My reservation was at 10:00am at Enoteca and I received a confirmation text on Saturday. Do we need to be going to a different restaurant for service and will my party be seated?” Gil suggested my reservation was for another restaurant. I proceeded to showed him the messages I received from Enoteca. The most recent message was sent at 10:50am saying the restaurant had canceled my reservation. Gil did not apologize and then blamed it on his staff calling out. By 11:30 my friends and I were sitting and we did not have our orders taken. Our server, Gillespie, informed us they were very busy last night and that led to the poor quality of service(opening late, lack of servers, lack of coffee service).
For the inconvenience, he comped 3 of the coffees and the burrito with the long black hair. When I received the bill, it was a total of $33 for a salmon lox sandwich, fries, and an omelet. My party and I agreed food, service, and management only made the experience worst.
My wife had this wine that she absolutely loved…
RICASOLI Sangiovese Blend, Super Tuscan.
We live in Mexico. She’s tried many wines that are delicious but THIS wine was the best!!
Expect us back soon
