A New Chapter for a Beloved Spot — Amadeo’s Shines Under New Ownership
Amadeo’s in Baltimore City has officially reopened under new ownership, and it’s already a standout. Run by husband-and-wife duo Brenna and Daniel (“Chef Danny”), this refreshed gem in Little Italy blends warmth, flavor, and hospitality in all the right ways.
From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The space is cozy and inviting, and the table service—led by Brenna herself—was personal and attentive. She even crafted a few of our drinks, which were phenomenal. Dave, the bartender was also incredible warm, sociable and made delicious cocktails. I had the house Negroni and a dirty martini—both perfectly balanced—while my husband enjoyed a couple of their thoughtfully curated wines by the glass.
The food? Absolutely incredible. We started with the squash crostini, Caesar salad, and shrimp cocktail—each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The crostini was a standout: hearty, seasonal, and layered with texture and taste.
For mains, we shared the mezze maniche in a simple red sauce that was anything but basic—rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The sausage and polenta was a revelation. I’ve never been a polenta fan, but this dish changed my mind. Creamy, flavorful, and paired with a sausage that had just the right amount of heat.
We ended the night with a couple of digestivos and couldn’t resist trying both dessert options. Let’s just say: save room. You’ll want to experience every last bite.

Stopped by here for date night. It’s under new ownership and we wanted to try out the new menu. Pictured here is their rigatoni dish, the mezze maniche. Super fresh and flavorful, loved the sauce! They also have killer cocktails – we ordered the Italian American (bourbon + amaro, how clever) and the martini. We chatted up with the new owners too, a couple living close by the neighborhood. Perfect spot for a date night or a nice dinner out with your friends. Definitely adding to my rotation!

This was my first time in Little Italy – Amadeo’s was an inviting and charming find. The linguini dish was fresh and delicious, can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into their menu and presentation. As a solo diner, I was well taken care of and had a great time with the locals at the bar (highly recommended the Castelvetrano martini)! Can’t wait to come back and wish I had something like Amadeo’s near my house.

Stopped in for dinner with my wife after hearing of new ownership and had the most lovely meal served by the husband and wife owners. Real mellow vibe, thoughtful menu, and very tasty! (Excellent prices too. I had the linguine and pasta was def homemade) Feels like they’re giving this old spot a new life and we can’t wait to go back soon!

New owners. Everything was delicious. All of the waiters’s mission is to make sure you have the best time possible and they succeed. The salciccia plate was a favorite. The watercress salad was crispy and refreshing- def try it! Short rib pasta hit the spot. Focaccia is well worth ordering. Delicious blackberry bramble mocktail and Sangiovese wine. Intimate space, no reservations. Check them out!

We found this little gem as a second option on a busy Saturday night and couldn’t have been more impressed. A cozy, quaint atmosphere was mostly empty when we got here, but quickly game to life shortly after. The food was amazing starting with a creative and delicious squash appetizer followed by two excellent pasta dishes for mains. Presentation and flavors felt like upscale Italian quality for a moderate price. Would highly recommend and come back again to try something new.

Charming small dining room and bar perfect for a date night or dinner with another couple, or go solo and sit at the bar. Every dish we had was outstanding…not sure what they did to make the squash appetizer but it was phenomenal. The pasta dishes were perfect and the panna cotta was some of the best we’ve ever had. Amadeo’s is such a special spot in Baltimore! It’s cozy and inviting, with an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond — friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of their work. Every dish was outstanding, from the fresh, homemade focaccia to the perfectly cooked fettuccine. And the dirty martini? Absolutely spot-on. You can taste the care and intention in every detail.
