Our family had dinner on New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent and the service was great. It was my daughter-in-law‘s birthday and they even let us bring our own cake. About a week later when I got the charge card statement, I noticed that there was an error in the amount of the bill. I contacted the restaurant and I believe I spoke with one of the owners. She could not have been nicer. She said she would check her books and get back to me. About a week later, she called and said that there had indeed been an error and she would Refund the error amount. At no time was she judgmental or put out by my request. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Eating some of the best Old Forge Food in Moosic! One of the best double crust white pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust was so light and crispy, absolutely delicious. The risotto was unbelievable, and the Sofrito takes a backseat to nobody. For how good the food was, the service was even better.

You Need To Know? Had dinner reservations for 6:45 & we were seated immediately. Service was a bit slow on this night as we had to ask multiple times just to get an Iced Tea. We had the chicken parm, a tray of red pizza (old Forge style) & the andolini with chicken & shrimp. We felt that the Parmigiano & the chicken andolini were very flavorful & tasty. The portions were very large & worth every mouth watering bite. In an area that is known for its pizza, we felt that this tray was just all right. Nothing that separated it from any other. While out of town for work I stopped at this place for dinner. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. Lori was my bartender and she was nice. I started with the raspberry lemon drop martini and it was very tasty. I also had pinot nior and it was tasty. For my meal I got the Mediterranean haddock and linguini meal. When the meal came out the fish came separately and the pasta came out with marinara which I wasn’t feeling. So they put the meal together. I dug in and it was just ok tasting. I had to add salt, pepper, and hot pepper flakes. My experience was decent and the bill was affordable.

We went on a Sunday, and it was quiet, but everyone kept saying how unusual that was. It’s not very big inside, so probably make a reservation if you go. It’s pretty casual inside, not too fancy, I just wore jeans and heels. The food was awesome. I got chicken Calabrese, a salad n side of pasta. The chicken was so tender. Also had the tortellini soup, and it was so good that I got some to go! The wine selection is not that great… but apparently they’re known for their martinis. I didnt have one, but they looked great and heard people talking about how good they were while we were there. We sat at the bar so the bartender was our waitress, and she was doing it all. Making drinks, bringing out food, handling the take out calls and pickups. They also had a ton of pickup orders while we were there. They do catering and looked like they had a party room for onsite events. Everyone was super friendly, and we had a very pleasant date night.

This was honestly one of the best indoor / outdoor dining we have had in Lackawanna County. My fiancé and I came here and the atmosphere was amazing. This is just for starters. We had very hospital staff serve us and make us feel extremely welcome. The food was so delicious, I still dream about it. I really want to bring my parents here one day. I am waiting for the conditions to be just right. Everything about this place is amazing. The service, environment, and dishes are all synchronized and vibrant. I would highly recommend coming here.
