Ordered takeaway for my partner and me. We had two beef noodle soups, but the meat was very chewy and a poor cut. My partner’s portion was mostly inedible, and the broth lacked flavour and was mostly noodles. The bánh mì was okay and the best part of the meal.

This was our second time trying this place, hoping it had improved, but unfortunately it hasn’t. With better Vietnamese options in downtown, we won’t return.

Pleasantly surprised! Ordered 401 Large and I can say for the first time in a while that it truly was a large bowl. The stock was flavorful and there was good amount of meat in it. The place gets busy quickly and it seems like a popular place for take out. Definitely recommend!

Visiting from out of town and had a really nice dinner at this restaurant.

We were promptly seated, without much of a wait. It seemed to be busy with tons of regulars coming in, lots of take out orders – the waiter and cashier were both very polite, checked up on us and had warm customer service.

Pho was delicious! Broth tasted like it had been stewing, full of flavour – tons of meat.

We took a chance on Alysa’s Pho for takeout one night and were completely blown away. We’ve tried almost every Vietnamese restaurant in Victoria over the years, and this is hands down the best pho we’ve ever had — honestly, probably the best anywhere.

We’ve been ordering the beef noodle soup with sliced rare beef and brisket, and the broth is incredible. Rich, comforting, and clearly made with a lot of care. And the deep-fried spring rolls… oh my God. What are they putting in those things?! They’re seriously addictive. Not even kidding…we’ve already ordered them twice this week

We’ve only done takeout so far so I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere yet, but the consistency and quality of the food has been amazing. So do yourself a favour and get the pho. You won’t regret it.

Deserves the high ratings. We sat by the window and enjoyed the view, and while it wasn’t too busy when we visited, it’s clearly a local favourite. Pho was solid but fairly average compared to Vancouver’s stronger pho spots; flavour was clean and comforting rather than standout. Interesting touch with the glass bowl for my boyfriend’s portion. Service was genuinely friendly and attentive, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming overall.

I tried the seafood pho first expecting something like Pho vy or Original pho but it was served with fish cake and a bit of seafood. But I tried out beef pho later and it was good. So i ordered lemongrass chicken vermicelli which is my favourite from other Vietnamese restaurants. But it was served with cold microwaved chicken. I could tell from the smell and taste I usually get when I reheat the chicken next day.
It was served too quick so I could tell it wasn’t made to order.

Friendly staff though and clean atmosphere though:) Hope things could improve ☺️

One of our favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Victoria. I think they are probably the only Vietnamese restaurant which is still serving Pork Meatloaf, which is quite time consuming to prepare, just love the distinct flavour of the mixed herbs in it, one of my all time comfort food. Their Pho soup has a unique flavour too, which makes it so special. Staff are super friendly, especially one of the owners, Tony. All the best to your new restaurant in Broadmead Village

I can’t wait to eat here again. The pho is absolutely on par with pho I ate in Vietnam.

I had #401 Beef Noodle Soup – with rare beef, brisket, tendon and beef balls. Broth has incredible flavour and the tendon was cooked perfectly. Huge bowl, generous portions of meat and noodles. I had so much leftover I got to eat for breakfast the next morning.

Also, the vegetarian spring rolls are SO good (those actually kind of unexpectedly blew my mind).

Service was great! Friendly and fast. Good price for eating out in Victoria and the amount and quality of the food. The atmosphere is casual and understated, and it felt so comforting and nostalgic to be in there.
