I didn’t know what I was getting into when I stepped into this place. I’ll start with the bad because it’s a such a short list. Paper plates, plastic flatware & the only tea offered is bottled. All very trivial concerns compared to the flavors, quantity & presentation of the food! I ordered a large chicken burrito not realizing it would be large enough to feed 2 (especially after the bean dip and salsa). The staff speaks English fluently and helped me understand parts of the menu when ordering.
A note on the flavors.
I’m very white about spice so I know to test the waters slowly with a new Mexican based dish. Every single thing was flavorful in it’s own distinct and delicious way. nothing was over spiced to hide the cheapness as many places do. I separated the burritos make up and tried each part individually of the others to find each part was truly delicious on it’s own, the chicken is juicy, rice & beans are firm but not hard and everything was seasoned to perfection. My drink is pineapple juice and a bottle of water to clean the pallet between samplings. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone.

Aly’s is a touchdown, home run, and knockout wrapped in a freshly made tortilla!! I traveled to Mexico in 2004 and this is the first time I’ve eaten a meal since that took me back. What a great food experience! We were greeted warmly right when we walked in. We picked our table and then were given some of the best tortilla chips and salsa I’ve ever had! I washed that down with some house made pineapple water. My meal was chorizo tacos and they were bang’n!! My wife had chicken quesadilla and she was very happy she did, too. While we were eating, the chef came to check on us. He was very kind and welcoming. Aly’s is authentic as they come and, I promise, you need to eat there! If you’re hungry, get off the interstate, drive your butt past the boring, passionless chain restaurants and go to Aly’s! It’ll be more than a great meal, it’ll be a great memory!

We were headed to savannah from Atl and got really hungry. With a quick goggle search, I found some amazing pictures and reviews, and we just had to try it.
We didn’t wanna pull off the highway but decided to anyways, and boy are glad we did! Aly and her husband are so sweet and welcoming. But the food speaks for itself, so much flavor! We made sure to stop on our way back to Atl, and still again, the food was top-notch. We can’t wait to come back!

This was my second time going to Aly’s. I took my niece with me this time. I had taco salad and she had a burrito as big as your head. Service, food everything was great. Such nice and warm people. Sent pictures to my great niece so will see you again next week when she comes to visit.

The food is delicious( I’ve had the Tacos Asada, Burrito, Chicken Fajita Nacho and Arroz con Pollo!) the serving size is quite large and I love the homemade chips!! The owners are the sweetest and I love that they do charity work in the community. I would visit every week if I lived closer!

Aly’s was so good! She herself is so sweet and a wonderful host. I loved the small homey feel to their place. I felt like I was sitting down to eat and visit with family. My husband ordered the chorizo tacos and I ordered the birra tacos. Both were some of the best we’ve had! If you’re ever in Metter, give them a try. You will not be disappoint one bit!

Lovely atmosphere. Canvas on walls are beautiful. Wonderful customer service from Mrs. Aly & Mr. Ray. Mr. Ray even came out the kitchen multiple times to check on us. I came here because it had the highest ratings of all Mexican restaurants in Metter and I see why. And Mr. Ray’s salsa is so yummy. I also liked that they give you a choice between rice&beans or fries.

Absolutely amazing! Very authentic, delicious food, and the staff and owners were so kind. I came for coffee and a pan dulce while I got some work done, couldn’t help it ended up staying for lunch (2 tacos asadas and I chorizo) and taking a whole bag of sweets home with me because everything smelled and tasted SO good. An absolute must try. I will be making the 30 minute drive at LEAST once a week to keep the homesickness at bay.
