– [ ] Popular for a reason! Welcoming & friendly staff. Aly’s seems to plate up consistently delicious orders with a fairly option-full menu. Tiny interior seating with a spacious outdoor patio. The burgers & fries looked gorgeous! The lamb & beef gyro was so good we had to have it twice… Mediterranean salad was scrumptious on a day we just couldn’t eat one more heavy plate. Fair pricing and accepted credit card without fees attached. Enjoy!

I wanted to come here since I’ve never had New Zealand food. We tried their meat pies (mince and cheese and beef bourguignon) and fish and chips. They ran out of the Moroccan butternut squash. The meat pies were delicious! The pastry was so flaky. The fish and chips were okay.

They have an outdoor patio. Indoor seating was a bit cramped. Their staff were friendly.

We eat here a lot and it’s always good but yesterday we had the Valentine’s Day seafood broil special and it was phenomenal and super fun/messy!!! I saved the leftover crableg shells and baked/ground them down for my chickens so here they are also enjoying the meal!! Thanks alys team for a great evening 🙂

Quaint, deliciousness! We had a 10 hungry person party. They accommodated and served us in a very short time. They have some indoor seating and outside animal friendly seating. The beef and lamb gyro was amazing, as was the small falafel plate. The two vegans in our party loved the falafel gyros. The Kiwi burgers were amazing. Interesting New Mexico beer and ale options.

What a beautiful experience for us to eat at this cute place. We met the owner upon our arrival and she made us feel right at home. The food was amazing and her kindness much more so. Aly, we’ll be back. I had the Stew meat pie with salad and the wife the Mediterranean salad with falafel. Delicious on both orders. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our orders and there is definitely a return trip on our schedule. 5

They are very friendly, they spent time helping me pick what I might like best off the menu. My husband had a kiwi burger and fries. I had a falafel gyro with a side salad. We enjoyed our meals. It’s not a big restaurant. They have a drive through.

We stopped here for a late lunch as we passed through Taos. We were intrigued by Aly’s roots in New Zealand, where we have traveled before and where we enjoyed food. Overall, the food did not disappoint!

Adults ordered sausage roll, beef bourguignon meat pie, and a pear Gorgonzola salad. All three of these items were spot on for flavor compared to what we ate in NZ! The kids ordered falafel platters, which were tasty, and za’atar fries (which tasted slightly underseasoned and overdone).

The ambiance was relaxing. We sat outside, where the covered patio sheltered us from the sun. Service was friendly, though slightly slow. Definitely worth trying!

This place is rad! Small venue with big favors!!!! We had the traditional gyro with fries… I can honestly say it was the best gyro I have ever had, and the fries were off the chain good, too. I also had a locally made soda that was good, too! We will be back to try other stuff for sure

Best lunch break in ages! I picked up the Fish and Chips, which was piping hot, very generous, and fantastically delicious! Some of the best Fish and Chips I have ever had. The atmosphere and even the music were wonderful as well, with Alya Nereo’s sweet tones at a pleasant volume from the speakers.

I posted a pic of my food, but that’s just what remained after I managed to stop myself stuffing my face for a moment. An exceptional dining experience. Thank you to the staff for the prompt yet personal service!

Don’t miss this amazing, local place in Taos plaza area for a heart warming meal or a quick snack or sweet treat…dine-in or carry out. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and made fresh in house everyday! The chicken chipotle pie has the perfect New Mexico spice and a buttery, flaky pie crust! Highly recommended!
