As dine in customers, we had complimentary soup. We both tried the egg drop soup, which was very good, though it had a fairly strong corn flavor. We split an order of chicken dumplings and spring rolls for starters, which were fresh, hot, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the spring rolls. I also had a Thai tea that was nice and refreshing.
For mains, he had the kung pao chicken and I had the spicy crispy chicken. Both were quite delicious, and had very large serving sizes. I had enough left over chicken for multiple meals.
We then tried the apple pie egg rolls for desert, which were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and a wonderful combination of soft inside to crispy outside.
Overall we were quite pleased with our selections, though I would have liked more vegetables, even just as a side item that could be added on to the order. There did not appear to be an a la carte section on the menu.
The menu was clearly laid out with photos of the various dishes, but I did not see any large print menus for the visually impaired.
The restaurant was lit enough to see clearly, though the overhead lights were off making for a sensory safe space to dine. I would caution that there is minimal sound proofing, so the volume might become a problem for those sensitive to loud spaces during rush hour.
I would highly recommend this location.
The food is fantastic, I especially love the Jasmine Milk tea. I give the drink alone 10 stars in how flavorful it is and would come again just for it. We ordered the crispy spicy chicken and the walnut shrimp, and besides both coming out super hot and quick, they were delicious. The chicken smelled as amazing as it tasted, and honestly was my favorite out of the 2. Both were crunchy, and I enjoyed the fact they did not do the usual thing with the food being served on top of its own sauce, causing it to become soggy. I think the main highlight that sets this place apart is the food is flavorful without relying on just the sauce. The seasoning and herbs used come out so well you don’t need anything else.
This place is a gem and I plan to come many times from now .
I had the black pepper beef and my husband had the curried chicken. Both were delicious.
We both ordered jasmine iced tea. Delicious
