What an incredible experience! After a morning of hard work, my wife and I stopped by Always Flavored for a much-needed breakfast/brunch, and the entire visit was amazing. This is truly a hidden gem in Downtown Fredericksburg.
The food was hot, fresh, local, and beyond delicious. We were so impressed with the quality of the ingredients. The owner was at the register and was incredibly helpful and welcoming, which elevated the entire experience—it’s clear they have a passion for their craft.
The real stars of the show are their in-house made sauces and seasonings. They let us try them all before buying, and I’ve already found 3 or 4 new favorites to take home. This commitment to unique, flavorful ingredients sets them apart.
On top of the great food, they carry Maggie’s Root Beer, which is another fantastic local downtown company. I have to say, that was the best root beer I have ever had! The next time I make floats at home, I will definitely be stopping in to grab Maggie’s Root Beer for the main ingredient.
We’ve already added Always Flavored to the top of our regular restaurant rotation list. If you’re looking for delicious, flavorful food and friendly service, you must stop here!

Rita makes the best sandwiches ever. One must be careful with the amount of sauce on some of heat is an issue. The selection is fabulous.
I grab lunch here about once a week and can go over a month without having the same sandwich twice yet stay in my favorite sandwiches.

Always flavored might at first seem I just a sandwich shop, but they are packed with flavor.
Between a variety of sandwiches as well as hot sauces to choose from you will not be disappointed with their selections.
I got the chimichurri steak sandwich impaired it with a few of their hot sauces. I was very pleased with what I got.
They also sold root beer from a local place. I believe it was Maggie’s, which was honestly some of the best root beer I’ve had in a long time.
I highly recommend definitely check this place out if you need a quick bite!

We had brunch at Always Flavored for the first time: steak and egg bagel for me, with the chickpeas salad. The Reuben sandwich with the Thai spice coleslaw for my husband. Everything was DELICIOUS and the restaurant was clean. The employee who took orders also was helping preparing the food. She was really nice, she greeted everybody and I’m so glad I listened to her suggestion to get the chickpeas salad. This was a wonderful experience and we will be back!

The name “Always Flavored” is appropriate. Everything we’ve tried here has been wonderfully flavorful. Food is fresh and delicious. I love that they have a weekly special and have the ability for online ordering. Highly recommend.

This place is an hour away from me. I have been a supporter of their hot sauces for years with online purchases, but finally, I got to visit the Bistro and order a meal. The service was great. Got to talk to Chris (his wife and him own the business) about hot sauces and the Bistro. For lunch, I had the Chicken Shwarma Combo, which came with a drink and a side. I chose the Tiah Chili ColeSlaw. The coleslaw was awesome, creamy with a little spice that had a twang in the back of the jaw. The sandwich was just as good. I put a little extra Wrath Of Rita Sauce on to give it a kick. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the Tzatziki Sauce with Hummus knocked it out of the park. Great sandwich!!! My wife is plain Jane and built her own turkey sandwich, which she said was also great. They just got their ABC license and have local VA beer on tap. Of course, before leaving, I had to pick up several sauces and seasonings for the road. I’m so glad I finally got to visit the place. Highly recommend it if in the Fredericksburg Area.

Ok, I gotta be honest, I walked into Always Flavored by accident. I had thought it was still a previous business. But ya know, happy accident! Folks here were VERY friendly, the place was clean. They had been cooking bacon in their BBQ rub and the smell was intoxicating. I decided to stay and have one of their Thai Chicken sandwich combos. Yum!!! Flavorful and the chicken was moist, not dried out. Got to sample some of their hot sauces too (talk about punchy and luscious). Come on Fredericksburg, give this place a try! I think you’ll be pleased (I know I am!). And I WILL be back for more. A+++

Not sure how we missed this gem in downtown Fredericksburg, but decided to give it a try yesterday. We decided on the muffaletta sandwich on our initial visit. This sandwich did NOT disappoint. The sandwich was bursting with flavor, freshly made, and a true delight. Services was top rate and we enjoyed talking with Marcus.
