The woman at the counter was extremely rude and not helpful at all. There was no one in the restaurant and my sandwich took forever. My sandwich had enough mustard on it to make nine sandwiches, I would expect a little more for a $25 sandwich. I also asked for cherry and vanilla to be added to my Coke and I specifically asked for a lot of it and I got one spray of each. I could hardly taste the cherry or the vanilla. Very disappointed.

Went for my second visit. I introduced myself, and my ladies gave me their names as I will frequent this location while I am in Beaufort. Molly, Jamie, and Ronette treated me like royalty. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. I had the Salvation, it is the way to go!

We were visiting the area for a little day trip. We were hungry before we left. So I looked up what was around and came across this sandwich shop with amazing reviews. Now I’m not much for sandwiches. I’ll eat them every once in a while but I don’t go out of my way to have them. Well I’m here to tell you that the Turkey club I had from here was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I wish there was an Alvin Ord’s near me because I would go frequently. The bread was so good and fresh. The customer service was great. We will definitely come back next time we are in Port Royal.

The circular bread is a puck of pizzazz. Each loaf (if you can even call it that. Perhaps a roll?) is baked separately from the rest. Similarly, Alvin Ord’s Sandwich Shop is separate from the rest—A Sub Above, if you will.

Just a thought: submarine shops’ (SSN New Jersey Michael’s, etc.) sizes reference the length of the bread: 6″, 8″, the proverbial Footlong… Alvin Ord’s ought to use diameters to a similar degree/π/180 rad.

5 stars all around. Sandwiches are fantastic so are the ppl. One of the only places I get sandwiches from in Beaufort. Northern person so I’m picky lol these are amazing. Very unique gotta try it for yourself
