BEST sandwich shop ever!!!! Staff is always friendly and happy to help. Bread is special and the best we’ve ever had – would buy loaves of it if available! Ingredients are always fresh and every bite melts in your mouth. Seasonal soups are fantastic as well. Honestly, haven’t had any sandwich off the menu that wasn’t absolutely delicious. If we lived closer, we’d eat here every day! LOVE IT!!

The meatball sandwiches at Alvin Ord’s Bluffton are the absolute best ever! First, the bread is unique and delicious! The meatballs melt in your mouth, plus the sauce is out of this world. This is one sandwich I would eat all the time if I lived near Alvin Ord’s!!!

The food was amazing! Wish there was a little more cheese on the dip, but otherwise it was all perfect. The potato salad shocked me– it was exactly the kind we love!! The vibe was fun and the staff was so kind. One bite in and both kids said, “We HAVE to come back here more!”

I am so frustrated. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheddar and mozzarella cheese to be delivered. I LITERALLY got just meat and bread. NONE of the other stuff. It was disgusting and when I went to contact them to complain they were closed. ~$23 for that? Ridiculous.

Alvin Ord’s is our favorite restaurant and our dogs favorite too. The fresh baked bread is so good, the veggies are always fresh and often local. The staff always remembers us and they’re so warm and welcoming. Sitting on their screened in porch is home away from home!!

I don’t know what happened but after ordering my veggie sandwich today, I noticed the ingredients are not near as plentiful and barely there as they use to be just a few months ago. I am terribly disappointed that I’m eating mostly bread and cheese especially for the price paid.

The quality of the food is awesome. These sandwiches are really, really good. I only gave four stars for the food, however, because the prices are super high.
Service is really slow. Last time I was there it took over 20 minutes to fulfill my single-sandwich take out order with no crowd present. I was wondering if they have some magic process for making sandwiches that involved a round trip to Savannah or something.
Atmosphere? I remember when this location was The Sippin’ Cow. It’s always been a dumpy kind of place.
Bottom line: enjoy every once in a while as a treat when you have a lot of time on your hands.

Been here many times and this was the first bad experience . Unfortunately we were treated with attitude by the girl at the front taking orders at lunch time on 12/8. We stood to the side to wait to order because it was busy. We said to ourselves there were no seats so let’s wait to order . She then inserted herself to us with attitude by saying “our seating is first come first serve. Sorry we are busy during lunch time” as she walked to the back. It completely caught us off guard. Never been treated with passive aggressive attitude like that for no reason. We hadn’t even said a word to her. Disappointing because we love their sandwiches and have been many times.

Sandwich shop with a range of unique sandwiches. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The prices were a bit high but the food tasted great and fresh. It gets crowded at lunch time but worth it. Parking can get tight.
Though you may be tempted to get a medium, a small is likely enough for two people. The medium is equivalent to a foot long at some sub stores.

The cutest spot for lunch in downtown Bluffton! I come here often and they always remember my name, which makes it feel so personal. My order is always perfect, and the staff is incredibly friendly. My personal favorite thing is the taco salad! Even when they’re super busy, they truly care about their customers. Such a gem!
