Alvaro’s Tacos just extended their food truck into a brand new restaurant, and I came in on their second day after they opened last week. It was very impressive! The asada street tacos, quesabirria with consomé, and shrimp cocktail were all delicious and full of flavor. The horchata was perfect too.
The service was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant is clean, portions are generous, and prices feel fair.
I love supporting a family-owned business run by wonderful people! If you’re in the area, definitely come give them a try. I’ll be back!

The best food, always. My family and I have loved the food at Allin for years. And now we’re happy to know we can order tacos from the food truck, pay there, and eat them in the restaurant, where you’ll find a variety of other food to eat right there. Like pork ribs in green sauce, hamburgers, and much more. And enjoy the place with its clean atmosphere, good service, and delicious food.

Good food and friendly staff there was 15 minute wait for our food. Parking lot Is a little to small, no restrooms available, family friendly. I got tacos pastor ( marinated pork) Tripa dorada ( crispy intestine) also got cabeza ( beef head) and a Alvaro especial which is a torta con carnitas asada jamón y queso ( sandwich with shredded pork meat, beef meat, ham and cheese with lettuce tomato avocado, jalapeños and you’re choosing of spicy sauce.

Long established taco truck. It’s either this one or Rico’s taco by Allen market. I’m starting to see more Hispanics at this location, so I wonder if it’s truly better! Rico’s has been a hit or miss, but you can’t go wrong with these two closely located spots!!! Plus you can get your car washed right before or after a bomb meal.
6/6/23 – the food just doesn’t hit like it used to.
7/2/23 – almost 45 minutes for food and people who ordered after me got their food before me, which makes absolutely no sense.

Both people in line in front of me ordered tortas (like a sandwich but better and the bread can handle it) Next time I’m ordering a torta! $10 and they’re HUGE.
This is the burrito de lengua (Cow tongue).
The burrito was also massive and they had no problem filling that bad boy with meat so if you were questioning whether it’s mostly rice or fillers etc. Worry not! Very full of flavor and very satisfying.
Next time I’m getting the Torta Cubana. It has hot dog and ham and guac and a ton of other goodies.
Good guys running the truck, great bilingual language skills. English and Spanish obviously.
Other snacks/misc items:
The truck offered a wide variety of chicharrones, takis, juices/soda, and various salsas and hot sauces for your use. You can ask for a small plate of grilled onions too.

Man, I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I found a used and ripped bandage in my Al pastor taco. I completely lost my appetite and had to throw the rest of the tacos away. Be careful.
