The food is what you would expect of local lombardian fare, cooked to perfection.
The staff are shrewdly attentive, particularly the sommelier, who recommended us am exquisite, local orange wine.

Absolutely blown away by the quality of food, service and how lovely the team was throrough the whole meal. I’m lactose intolerant and they took care of me flawlessly.
They were extremely attentive about mise en place, clearing the table, explaining dishes and all round taking care of the whole table.

an incredibly awkward experience. From the very beginning we felt unwelcome. So we started questioning ourselves and our behavior. It clearly wasn’t us. service was so impolite and cold particularly when compared with other clients, possibly regulars? Will never step again in that place. Restaurants are not only about the food but also about the experience. And it was WEIRD!

Food is good but I still don’t know what we did to deserve this cold and unprofessional treatment. Booked in advance and arrive a bit earlier, ordered the food and water, the service was lukewarm -until- we started noticing he was very enthusiastic in servicing the other 3 tables, explaining the ingredients and the vineyard etc. Now you may think this may have been subjective pov, now the facts: he didn’t ask if we wanted wine, when he came with the dishes, he gave the name of mine and left us without saying anything about my husband’s dish, and when we asked for the bill right after the last dish, he didn’t ask if we’d like dessert or coffee, at last the best part, he came with the bill, folded in a book (sort of fancy bill presented) without showing to us the amount nor details, he pressed the numbers on a POS machine in front of us and put it there. It’s absolutely bizarre and again not professional at all. I don’t know why he hated us or what we did to deserve this. Good luck to you all.

I don’t usually write restaurant reviews but last night’s dinner at Altrimenti was absolutely stunning and I think it deserves one. Our waiter (a lovely guy from Reggio Emilia) was extremely kind and professional. All the dishes we had were incredible: simple yet sophisticated. A special mention goes to the pannacotta dessert: it was just another level. We will be back soon!
