Altitude Burgers: Elevate Your Taste Buds in Orlando
Reviews
Why?
That’s honestly the only question that comes to my mind.
After several attractions, roller coasters, rides, and a long walk pushing my child’s stroller, you finally spot it: a bright, eye-catching sign. A very American-looking burger place. At that moment, you get excited. You imagine a juicy, tasty, classic American burger — exactly what you need to recharge.
Then reality hits.
You end up eating one of the worst burgers of your life.
It’s extremely frustrating, especially because I paid for the dining plan and, even worse, had to serve this food to my 6-year-old child. That makes the disappointment even bigger.
We’re talking about SeaWorld Orlando — one of the most famous theme parks in the United States, if not the most famous for many people. With all the investment, structure, and overall experience the park offers, it’s shocking to find such low-quality food.
The burger was bad, the wait was long, the line was ridiculous, and the whole experience was simply disappointing.
How does this happen?
How can a place with so much visibility and responsibility deliver such poor food quality?
This was, without exaggeration, the worst burger I’ve ever had — and in a location where you expect at least something decent.
Very disappointing.
I know MANY reviews mention the food was bad. Is it as advertised? No, but I didn’t hate it.
What I did hate was the service. It should be called ATTITUDE BURGER.
Unfortunately the SeaWord app doesn’t show restaurant hours on the app. Google says it’s open at 9am. We asked some kind employees when it was open, in park employees said 10:30. We arrived at 10:40, it looked empty, We asked an employee, she assured us it was open and gestured for us to enter.
Inside the 3 employees were setting up the food. They seemed flustered and said they were not ready yet then asked us to wait. Okay no problem, we waited. Another family joins us in line. The employees then ask “are you going to order?!” we looked at one another surprised, I had thought they would announce when they were ready which we said calmly. One of the employees said “Oh we tried to tell you but you weren’t paying attention”. There’s no way, we stood maybe 3 feet from them? The employees were talking to one another but didn’t say anything to us. Nice try though.
My friend orders a Beyond Burger, an employee goes to make it. The cashier asks us to keep moving forward to pay. No problem. We pay and move out of the line so other patrons can check out. The man with the beyond burger returns, and asks what my friend wants on it. We are unable to return to the line as its single file and barricaded so he yells. I respond back for my friend “just the burger and cheese” and he gets so irritated. It’s not like he needs to put lettuce or tomato or pickles or condiments on. Those all come separate and we had already grabbed them. Please see the photos below 🙂
As she tried to make her way towards him to get her order another customer steps in her way. The employee then shouts in a NASTY tone “Why don’t you come get it then?!”.
And so without cursing or yelling I did respond to him, “there’s another customer in the way. What would you like us to do? Push her out of the way? Thank you.”
He had a whole attitude about it and I felt the younger female employee rushed to console him. Come on. I get it, food service sucks, working at theme park sucks, these people are underpaid and get yelled at on the daily but we did not deserve to be yelled at by this man. SHAME ON YOU. If you can’t handle being a customer facing employee please ask to be reassigned.
1 meal, $25 burger (did I mention that yet?) + $6 drink + $9 slice of chocolate cake (which had watery frosting – WATERY FROSTING is something I never had to write in my life before this day) = $40 + tax + the 5% extra surcharge on EVERYTHING sold at Sea World.
Garbage food, insane price, deceptive if not outright fraudulent 5% surcharge. No creature, neither man nor beast should eat here. Sea World, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself.
I visited Altitude Burger at SeaWorld Orlando on February 8, 2026, around 1:20–1:40 PM, and the cashier added a tip of about $12 without my consent. That is unacceptable. Tips are optional and must be approved by the customer. No one should be charging themselves extra.
Management: please review the transaction and camera footage for that time window and fix this immediately. I’m requesting a refund of the unauthorized tip and a clear explanation of how this happened.
