Popped in for lunch and was surprised how many people were in there on a Tuesday. I knew that was a good sign and the food would be good, and it was!
I got the Big Mick Burger which came with two patties, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onion, and a thousand island sauce. The pickles were sweet so I took them off since it was taking away from the savoriness of the burger I wanted to taste. The fries it came with were dynamite and seasoned to perfection! Definitely the star of the show.
Great service and atmosphere. I’ll be back for sure.

We ordered the Big Mick Burger and the Alterado Steak Frites. The sauce in the burger reminds me of the Big Mac sauce. The patties are almost as thin as a smash burger. It was so full of flavor and delicious. Highly recommend. My husband ordered his burger with sweet potato fries and those were very flavorful and the outside was crunchy. We ordered our steak in our alterado steak frites dish medium well and it was very juicy and easy to cut through. The michelada sauce that it comes with was so tasty. The steak comes in a bed of thin cajun fries.
Dessert was mid. I ordered a Bundt cake and it was dry. My husband had a cheesecake and it was okay.
We will definitely return for the food but not the dessert.

I was there for a private event tonight. Everything was fantastic!! The buffet was fresh & always full. My buddy had a couple beers, he said they were great!!
We met Khriston shortly after our arrival, as she came over & struck up a conversation about a Bear statue I had. She was incredibly nice!! She checked in on us a few times throughout the event, made us feel like we were important & special!!
Tiffany our server was very nice & equally attentive.
I will be back in a few weeks for another event, but might just stop by before that!!

Beyond my expectations. From walking in to walking out. The food was top tier and so fresh. Had the Wyatt meatballs and elote fritters. Fish and chips as well as the porterhouse sandwich. The bread (turano?) Exceptional. Service was great as well.

Nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. Server was friendly and attentive. Large bar area and screen to watch the games on. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The prices are on par with that area. Ordered a custom bacon blue cheese burger which was really good. Ordered fries which are the tasty beer battered fries and ordered a side of cheese curds which come with pickled jalapeños on top and a ranch dip. Overall a nice meal and tasty.

Searched google for some pub like restaurant in Oak Brook and this place showed up on top. Loved the food especially shrimp and steak kabob as an appetizer. Nashville chicken sandwich has some heat as it should. Shrimp taco was good enough. Wished it was in corn tortilla instead of flour. Overall atmosphere and draft beer choices were great. Will visit again.

Very nicely decorated sports bar. Service was okay, but we weren’t checked on much. The place was not crowded when we were there around 3:20pm. Beer selection was good and the food selection is average. They do have a couple of vegan/vegetarian options, but limited. Fries were delicious.

Bougie brewpub vibes with a great setup, featuring a full kitchen, plenty of seating, TVs everywhere, and even a patio. Prices are a little higher, but worth it for the nicer ambiance. Happy hour (weekdays 3–5) has $5 beers and food specials. Burgers are always solid, and they’ve got a strong draft list with some unique options. Big fan of their pales and IPAs.

I’ve been to Alter in St Charles a few times.
Was interested in trying this location.

Friendly service. (later) while we were engaged in conversation, the service staff came by less frequently.
Food was good, I was quite disappointed that fried pickles were not listed. Are the gone? or just at StC location? they are the best.
It was a Sunday evening. started off busy and loud, and then it felt like we shut the place down. sorta was a little uncomfortable. even though you are open to 11pm the message was clear as the chairs were being put up near us between 9 and 10.
So could it have been better? Yes.
will I come back to StC probably – only had good experiences there. Back to Oakbrook? maybe not.

Been here three times. Always good until tonight. Ordered the big Mick. The bun in the middle was like cardboard. Couldn’t really bite into it. Pulled it out so I could eat it. Everything else in our party was fine. Maria was great.
