Great selection of coffe/tea. They just opened up a bakery spot right next door and the breads we got were delicious. Would def recommend and will be back! We got the banana pudding hojicha latte and the new orange chocolate latte. Both so good! They offer oat milk sub. Got the cheese ube pan de sal and the creamy garlic bread as well.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was originally planning to leave one in support of Altea for their recent giveaway. While doing so, I came across the recent 1-star reviews from Colleen and Ginny, and after witnessing the situation, I felt it was important to share my experience.
I was seated right next to the pickup area and saw the interaction. Although, to be fair, I did not witness them ordering.
There was no arguing, accusing, or hostility from staff. The drink was remade promptly and professionally. The older woman spoke with the younger employee only to understand what was ordered, not to dismiss the customers. She also politely explained that every order is reviewed with the cashier before payment and suggested customers follow along during that review to help prevent future mix-ups not attack them.
I’ve been coming to Altea for months and consistently receive excellent service, especially from the young woman mentioned in those reviews.

this kinda blew me away! I had the Vietnamese Egg Coffee, and it was so strong and tasty. my friend for the Pandan latte, also amazing: great Pandan flavor, great coffee flavor. also got the Ube Banana Pudding, and as someone who hates banana, it was still great! overall everything was 10/10 and I absolutely will be back whenever I am in this area again (which is unfortunately super out of the way from anywhere but oh well)

Super cute place, got the test kitchen menu drink this time, orange chocolate latte, and it was so good!! They also have really good tiramisu and my favorite fruit drink is the summer sunset which I had last time I came!! Would come again!!

We stopped in because my girlfriend wanted to get one of their tiramisu cups. The flavor was good, not sure how much it was. There was plenty of seating. I didn’t interact with the staff so I can’t tell if they were rude like what other reviewers said.

So delicious! I got the banana pudding coffee latte and it was so yummy. The banana flavor really pulled through and it was the perfect balance of coffee latte- without it being overly sweet. Highly recommend this place!!

The vietnamese coffee tastes good and as expected. I haven’t tried the traditional hot. The pictures on the menu look legit but I cannot comment if you will get the legit exp. The price for 24oz trad cold qas around 9$.

I like their drinks, it’s overall good quality and they have some creative flavors that they rotate. I have found the service to be very quick and don’t need to wait for a long time for my drinks.
Just be warned, they don’t have much customization in terms of size and sugar levels. The drinks also have a decent amount of ice.

I ended up at ALTEA Viet Coffee & Boba by chance with some friends, and unfortunately, the experience left a bad taste.
My friend ordered a coffee, and no one explained that they only offer one size for hot drinks. When she received the drink and realized it was cold, I immediately asked if we could please switch it to a hot one—she really didn’t want a cold coffee.
The response? A blunt and rude “no.” It felt unnecessarily harsh, especially since we hadn’t even touched the drink yet. If the cashier had clearly explained the options from the start, we wouldn’t have ordered a cold drink at all.
The drinks themselves were okay taste-wise—not bad, not amazing—but the customer service was seriously lacking.
Honestly, I was disappointed that I left them a tip. It didn’t feel earned. Not a place I’d be excited to return to.

**Update: banh mi is gone (SAD), but the good news is, the staff is still amazing, the drinks are superb, and I went again just to say hi and they treated me like an old friend. Had the ube latte today with oat milk – fantastic, as always.
Absolutely charming and cool spot, great for a quick cup of coffee and a banh mi. That’s all they have right now (besides small desserts) so hopefully they’ll have more soon. However, the drinks are phenomenal and the service is friendly and quick. Turns out I love Vietnamese drinks! Highly recommend the basic Traditional or if you’re feeling frisky try the ube matcha latte!
