Social Profile:

Aptly named to mean Delicious in the Arabic language, the restaurant is signified with the Lebanese breakfast specialty, the finest in the area which you are likely never to get anywhere else. Catering to anyone with a likeness for food or to be adventurous with their meals, we at Al Tayeb aim to serve the most fresh and healthy choices that can be found, with an irresistible taste that will keep you coming back for more. All the food served is Halal, and a lot of Vegetarian options are available. With the casual setting of the restaurant, a relaxed atmosphere is established to permit people to settle down, and enjoy their food without a thought or care to the daily grind.

Down-to-earth daytime spot turning out Mediterranean fare, including hummus & falafel plates.

this coming from Someone who has eaten food for 26 years and counting.

All the dishes that we ordered as shown in the pictures below are really as good as it gets for being in the west. I usually write longer and more in-depth reviews, however, in this case, I don’t find a reason to the review, speak for themselves.

Every dish was, spot on. There really is not much to say besides this place is I must try.

Authentic Lebanese restaurant Serving Delicious Breakfast.

I highly recommend this location over the Dearbon location.

This is operated by its owner. They Always greet you with a warm welcome unlike the other location.

I visit this restaurant at least 6 times every year from Florida.

I invite my family and friends for Sunday breakfast during each visit.

I had tried everything on the menu. I mean everything.

When you have 10 plus Lebanese relatives on your table, you gotta order all items.

Believe me, the restaurant’s name fits perfectly with its food. DELICIOUS.

My favorite is the Entire breakfast menu. I can barely say that about other places.

Their falafel is my second favorite after Rafic. It’s still very delicious.

Do Not Forget To Eat at this restaurant when you visit Michigan. You will be Amazed.

While most Middle Eastern restaurants place emphasis on grilled meats and cater mainly to carnivores, AlTayeb is refreshingly different by offering real Lebanese breakfast dishes that tend to be light and vegetarian. The Fool was delicious, although it could use more Cumin. The eggs, with or without Makanek, are delicious and scrambled just right. The service is friendly with reasonable prices for large portions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At-Tayyib in Dearborn is truly one of those rare places where authenticity is not a slogan, but something you taste in every bite. From the moment the food arrived, it felt like being transported straight to a humble Syrian kitchen where care, tradition, and pride are poured into each dish.

We started with the musabaha, and it was absolutely outstanding. The balance of chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and lemon was spot on—rich, warm, and deeply comforting. It tasted exactly the way musabaha should: simple, honest, and full of soul, without any shortcuts or unnecessary twists.

The falafel deserves special mention. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, green, and fragrant on the inside, it was clearly made fresh and with the right blend of herbs and spices. This is real falafel—the kind that reminds you why this dish is loved across the Levant.

We also ordered harura and hummus, and both were exceptional. The harura was hearty and warming, with that unmistakable homemade flavor, while the hummus was silky smooth, well-seasoned, and beautifully balanced. Nothing was overpowering—just clean, authentic Syrian flavors done right.

Overall, At-Tayyib is a gem in Dearborn. Every dish felt authentic, thoughtful, and made with love. If you’re looking for true Syrian food that respects tradition and delivers quality without compromise, this place is absolutely worth five stars and more.

The service is with a big smile, the food is delicious, my girlfriend had gluten free vegetarian food and we always love when a place can accommodate her dietary restrictions! After eating you actually feel GOOD! The tea is strong and right on point, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant and bathroom is clean! Definitely amazing breakfast experience, we will come back again! Best falafel as well if I may add

One of the best breakfast places around despite its small size. I’m not Lebanese nor am I an expert food critic, but the food hit the spot where it mattered and that’s all it matters. It was so homey it feels like my grandma cooked it (and no my grandma is not Lebanese), and that’s how you know it’s good. The servers were friendly and super helpful. I enjoyed the scenes of Lebanon on TV.
