We visited Altavilla on a recommendation. I am allergic to onion and explained this to the server. I had a couple of dishes in mind and asked if she would check with the kitchen on onion content of these dishes. She was gone for quite some time and upon her return she gave us conflicting information. She stated that their marinara sauce did not contain onion, but their Fra Diavlo did. I asked how that could be. After multiple trips to the kitchen to ask questions, she declared that she did not want to answer any further questions
questions (said half jokingly). I then asked if they would make me shrimp picatta (chicken and veal picatta were on the menu, but not shrimp). They could make it. Yeah!
When my dish arrived, there was beautiful, tasty shrimp, a scant amount of pasta and a minimum of 1/4 cup of capers.
When she saw my expression, she asked if I would like clean pasta, I’m not certain what that meant. I ate the dish, minus 95% of the capers. The shrimp was delicious, but the kitchen should know that this is NOT the correct proportion of capers for a picatta dish.

Restaurant area wouldn’t let us order sub and rice balls from pizzeria menu (same restaurant and owner) although ordering meals from restaurant section as well. Waitresses pretended to be one of the owners and was rude when asked to speak to the owners. Let her know she lost 3 customers today and response was that’s fine. Train your staff and do better.

Been coming here for a few years and they’ve been pretty good. The last time I went the pizza wasn’t very good. Soggy and greasy. So I went again today and again I got super greasy soggy pizza. I’m not even going to eat it. Just look at the photos. Not to mention the girl on the phone had a funky attitude. No more Altavilla for me.

We did a pizza tour where four of us went to different restaurants and tried their different specialties. Altavilla was fantastic! We had the supreme and meat lovers pizza. I usually don’t like supreme, but theirs had a great combo of items- so delicious! We also had the tiramisu and lobster claw for dessert- amazing!!! The owner came by and told us how he ended up in Naples and that they make all their desserts in house. It shows! Our server Jeanine just added to the great experience. She was so friendly and took great care of us.

I mean… We went here for dinner about a year ago and it what spot on authentic Italian yumminess, then tonight we got this XXL Pizza and not to my surprise it was unbelievably the best pizza I’ve had! Can I mention that I’ve never seen a pizza this huge!!! ❤️ ‍♀️

Great food! However, they only had one server for six tables. Very slow! The waitress did a wonderful job but was overwhelmed with the only person for seating, bar tending, cleanup, etc. Management needs to hire more people.

Great place for a quick bite and they also have pizza by the slice. It’s a nice big piece bigger then your head. Staff was very nice and polite. Place could of been cleaner but that didn’t bother me. Just saying. Over all pizza was good. I’d give it a 7. I’ll be back again not to many place do pizza by the slice. Oh did mention the 30” PIZZAAAAA It’s huge!!!!

I just ordered an 18” with half olives and the other half eggplant and spinach. I grabbed a small pellegrino and it totalled $39+. I don’t usually leave reviews like this but, when I looked at my receipt, I was mind blown they charge $4 for a small sized pellegrino and when I switched from an entire pie with eggplant and spinach to half of it and the other half olives, the price went up even though the products being used were less than what I originally requested. It was really off putting. I like their pizza but their prices are unreasonable!

Had probably the worst pizza I have EVER had. My family I have been coming here since opening and would get carryout, but this time we tried something new. We finally sat down inside and I was more than disappointed in the entire experience, I almost walked out seeing and tasting the 30 dollar 12 inch pie that was presented to my family. I have never been as disappointed as when I saw that pie come out. I was astonished that for 30 dollars you get a 12 inch pie that LOOKS and TASTES like it was a frozen pizza. Will give one more chance for carry out, but if I’m disappointed again, a customer will have been lost.
