I went to Altas Horas Lanches on my lunch break after not visiting for years. Back in the day, the food was really good and the staff was super nice, so I decided to give it another try. I ordered the X-Frango sandwich, which was pretty good, although the cashier was a bit rude.
I also bought a Kibe to have later for dinner, and unfortunately, that was a terrible experience. After eating it, I became very sickI was throwing up, had diarrhea, and even heartburn. It seemed overly greasy, and I could taste the oil even when I got sick. Because of this, I cannot recommend the Kibe here at all.

During a recent order I found out that they charge $1 for each additional packet of sauce which is very small and should be included. Furthermore, the price when you pay by cash or card is different (there’s an additional credit card fee) but when you place an order over the phone they charge you the higher price even if you intend to pay by cash.
So although the food is tasty they should be more transparent with their prices because a $14 burger ends up costing you almost $20 bucks.

I ordered from Altas horas for the first time today and was positively surprised. I called and the attendant was very friendly. I ordered one X Egg bacon Brazilian style sandwich and 2 slices of their empadão de frango (chicken pie).
I stopped by 10 minutes later and my order was ready. Note that it was on a weekday around 11:30am so I’m not sure how busy it gets later or during the weekend.
Both the sandwich and the empadão were very tasty, and in my opinion better than the same items offered at Hamburgao, one of their competitors. Hamburgao is still tasty but not as tasty as Altas horas, although Hamburgao offers some daily specials which Altas Horas don’t.
They included some sauces including the pink and green one which was my favorite. The place isn’t big but there are some tables if you want to dine in. In my case, I ordered for take out and the items were very well packaged.
I am removing one star because they charge 3.25 for a soda can which is ridiculous. Also, keep in mind if you use a credit card there’s an additional fee.

So I really enjoyed the food here, but I did not like the atmosphere. One of the customers tried to talk to my sister, which was very inconvenient and I asked for four mayonnaise temperada and I was not provided with such, but was charged for.

i paid 17 dollars for the Xtudo sandwich and it barely came with any meat, literally half of the sandwich was just bread. Its been a couple of times that they been doing that. you will think for the price is going to be worth it but its NOT!!!!

So it’s my birthday today, I ordered a flan on Monday. Lady said come pick it up Friday. I call Friday prior to going, lady said it’s ready. I get there the lady says there’s no order so I decided to come outside and call to speak with the initial lady I made the order with. She stated all of the supplies made for the flan were expired. How ridiculous is this! Didn’t even apologize or try to solve the issue. Very sad, never coming here again.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years, but today I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a X-Tudo Picanha and received the sandwich in the photo — the meat was tough and not what I ordered. I called to complain, and the person who answered said ‘that’s what you ordered’, which was likely a misunderstanding from the attendant.
I work in customer service myself, and I can say that service was terrible. Please remember that customers are the ones who keep a business open.

Went for lunch, hadn’t been to this place in a few years.
Food was terrible, ordered a salad with steak and chicken and the meat tasted old and dry like it had been cooked days ago and then heated up. My son had fries and a hot dog and the fries tasted like old cooking oil that had been sitting for weeks in the deep frier. Place looks run down and unkept.
Tip was included in bill and overpriced for the quality.
Will not be returning here ever again.

When u go there you go to the counter but you’ve gotta wait for the waiter or waitress to take your order like as if you’re sitting at a table. Then they give your order to the cashier and you have to do your entire transaction as if you’re sitting down at a table. I think that part is just ridiculous!
