This place is a gem nothing over the top, just genuine service and consistently great tacos. It has that homey, dependable feel where you know exactly what you’re getting every time you stop by. The tacos always hit the spot, and the wait time is usually a quick 7–10 minutes, sometimes even less. Parking can be a little tight, but it’s worth the minor hassle. Heads up they do sell out and sometimes close early, so it’s best to plan ahead. A cute little staple I’m glad to have found!

Review for Al’s Ricos Tacos – Fresno, CA
Coming to Al’s Ricos Tacos is more than just a stop for great food—it’s a deeply personal tradition for me. I’ve been coming here since I was a child, always accompanied by my mother. She’s no longer with us, but this place keeps a part of her memory alive. Every visit feels like stepping back into those cherished moments of my childhood. The sound of the grill, the scent of the tortillas, and the warmth of the staff—it all takes me back.
To see this small, family-run business still thriving after all these years is genuinely magical. It brings me comfort and reminds me of simpler times. Whenever I visit, I make it a point to order a little extra—for her. The tacos here taste exactly as they did when I was young: the tortillas are perfectly toasted, the meat is flavorful and tender, and the salsa has just the right kick. It’s rare for a place to maintain that same consistent quality over time, but Al’s does it effortlessly.
This spot is a true gem in Fresno. It’s not just about the food—it’s about the love, memories, and legacy behind every plate. I’m so grateful Al’s is still around and thriving. If you’re in Fresno and want to experience something truly special, stop by and grab some tacos. It’s comfort food, memory, and flavor—all in one plate.
10/10, every single time.

Tacos were soaked in oil, there was no meat I guess you get what you pay for lol. No taste because there was no meat to taste only cabbage. I It’s good deal for people that can’t afford more expensive tacos. Other people might like it I guess it just depends if you like your tortillas with oil . Just my honest opinion.

The tacos are delicious. You can’t beat the price of $1.80 for two tacos. They taste better than other places that charge more. The area is a little sketchy but the customers are friendly and polite. The staff is also kind and take your order right away. We got our within ten minutes. Only downside is that they are currently accepting cash and no credit or debit cards.

Great taco deal. Four soft tacos for $2.85. we go here a lot. They are traditional street type tacos . I’ve trued other dishes such as nachos and burritos and enchiladas . They are Good too . Yummy food . Try it if you like traditional mexican food. Parking sucks and their on a corner of two main streets. But well worth it if you like tacos.
