This review is being written while being in the process of eating the food. My daughter and I decided to walk there since it was close by and we wanted great food. My daughter had the chicken tenders with fries and I had the single cheeseburger with onion rings. Our food was made fresh and quickly. The lady that was working there welcomed us immediately, provided great recommendations and was super nice ! We will definitely be back, the food is amazing ! Thank you !!

25 June 2025 I finally tried the food at this establishment for the first time. AND OMG the food is made fresh with fresh oil and ingredients. I took the fox to go and when I got home the fries, chicken tenders, and burger were still hot. I ordered the Texas Bacon Burger it had two large beef patties, with toasted buns. Good size bacon strips inside with a delicious sauce. The French fries are seasoned crispy and fresh. The sauces were delicious and had little kick to them but no over bearing. The chicken tenders were a nice came with 4-5 tenders, not over fried and tasted so good. I would eat here again. I paid average price for two meals with a soda included for the price. For two meals with twice the amount of food I would get a McDonald’s or Jack in the box and Al’s Burgers is better tasting, larger portions, and fresher. Fries did not get stale down to the last one. I totally recommend this place as it was recommended to me by my neighbor. I even called the restaurant after eating and told Angel I believe his name is how awesome, delicious, and happy I was eating the food.

HIDDEN GEM!!! We ordered two burgers with onion rings. The portions are generous! We were both super hungry and left very full. The quality and taste of the food is superb. Pricing was on point too!! There are a few tables and one tv in there, so you can definitely eat in. Overall highly recommend this local gem!

Finally went to the new burger place everyone is raving about. I will have to say it’s pretty good. I don’t think it’s great but worth trying out if you haven’t yet. I little pricey but hasn’t pretty much everything gone up lately? They do have some tasty burgers but mine was a little dry. I like a juicy burger. Chicken tenders were nothing special but I did really enjoy the onion rings. Might go back again someday. ♂️

I was going to say that these are the best burgers in Imperial Beach, but that doesn’t go nearly far enough, these are in the top burgers in San Diego, period. I wait until I’ve been to a place at least 3 times before leaving a review and it’s so nice to leave a 5-star review when it’s so we’ll earned. I’ve eaten there and I’ve taken them home and they nail the same rating every time. My favorite burger is Al’s burger exactly at it comes. They offer 1/4 lbs and 1/2 lbs burgers and they nail the temperature, every time, I order them medium rare. Their staff is so attentive, welcoming and in the best mood and it’s infectious. The shakes are absolutely delicious as well. I’ve only had a few of their burgers and shakes, so I’ll be happy to review again when I’m able to order something other than their delicious burgers, it might never happen. Keep up the amazing work!

This place is amazing. The cheeseburger for two box is a steal. Comes with onion rings AND fries. The burgers are not smash burgers but not overly thick either. Not to mention everything is cooked to order. I’ve ordered from here more than once and the quality has only gotten better.

I payed over $21 for what I thought would be FRESH chicken tenders and what I got were large store bought frozen chicken nuggets they just threw in the fryer & a salad with stale croutons! The fact that this restaurant had a 4.7 on grubhub and a 4.5 on Google review is what caught my attention, but now I know it was a lie to essentially steal my money by serving my low quality food!!! I will not be eating from this restaurant ever again and will be sharing my experience on and yelp as well. IM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED & DISSATISFIED!!! I PAID CLOSE TO $40 FOR BASIC FOOD I COULD’VE MADE AT HOME!!!
