Looking for a pizza joint that will go above and beyond for their customers? Look no further than Al’s.
While I was out of town for work, I had broken down on the interstate with nothing around me. After contacting 4 different places, nobody would even consider delivering to my location. That’s when I tried Al’s.
The moment Jessica answered the phone, you could tell they had an entirely different demeanor. They were courteous and polite off the rip. After hearing my odd request, there wasn’t much of a hesitation, she began speaking to the driver while gathering my details to ensure everything was going smooth. She got me in touch with the driver, who I was then able to send my coordinates too, as she finished taking my order.
Half an hour later, here up comes CJ rolling up, quick and professional. Not only did they include my order, but they added plates and napkins without me requesting them, as well as a special good luck note on the reciept.
After sitting for hours on the freeway, with more hours to come, THANK YOU AGAIN JESSICA AND CJ!! Huge shout out to the entire establishment of Al’s. That’s customer service at its finest.
If I lived in the area, I would absolutely become a regular. For now, I’ll just have to stop by on my way through for lunch!

Als sold a few years ago tried it was ok. Had not had in years. Last evening, ordered a Lotsa Meat pizza and cheesesticks for pick up. $43 fine but pizza had hardly any toppings, some piece around the edges were just cheese. The taste was like little Caesars. The cheese is chewy and did not stay on the breadsticks. No where near what it used to be, should not even be called Als, this is not his pizza at all. wont order again.

The lunch buffet between 11-2 pm is where it is at! All you can eat pizza, salad bar, and a secondary hot bar for a decent price. They will even let you pick what pizza you want on the buffet when its time to bring more pizza out. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
You cant go wrong with the menu items either! Als is one of my go to spots in town.

Our family had a birthday party here tonight and it was perfect! Great food., everyone was super friendly and very clean. They had the tables prearranged and made ordering for a large group extremely easy. Highly recommended!

Ordered our food for pick up at 4:47 pm they said it would be 25 minutes. I arrived at 5:12 pm and still did not have my order at 5:30 pm. I had already paid and when they said they “lost” my order I said give me a refund. They voided my order but was not able to give me a receipt. Avoid this place. Horrible service. If I could put a 0 for the stars I would.

In my opinion the new owners are definitely taking you for your money. The last 2 times I ordered the Large chief salad take out I have been disappointed. A salad is basically as cheap as you can get as long as you’re just getting the lettuce. $14.90 for this bad boy when bacon bits and extra dressing are added! Last time I had no egg or tomato on it not by choice this time no egg, where’s the cheese just a sprinkling gee thanks my dressing cups are only a quarter of the way full most the time that’s why I have to ask for extra. Both times they didn’t send crackers either. Definitely will spend my money elsewhere. I MISS THE OLD OWNERS who I do not even know who they were. I have also been told that the new owners adopt or foster quite a few children and make them slave away at their multiple businesses! That is hearsay but I personally will not be purchasing from Al’s in the future due to the personal experiences I have had on my last 2 takeouts. SMH.. $14.90 for lettuce! Get rich quick scheme! The girls taking the order over the phone both times were very helpful, kind, and professional!

Just tried the pizza today courtesy of a friend…. the veggie pizza was loaded with veggies! It was sooooo good!!! The taco pizza looked great but I did not try it. Did not eat-in. Was pick up. Can’t wait to try again!

The cheese on the pizza is burnt, probably the worst Als pizza ive ever had. I travel from west liberty every 2 weeks and get this pizza. If I get another one like this ill just travel a little further and get some keyhole pizza.
