Way better than I expected. Food was absolutely great and they had it out super fast! Wait staff was incredible. Good value too. Also is a gift shop, full grocery store that is super clean and has a cool theme. Also a bar area and a few video slots. Happy we stopped.

Al’s Oasis in South Dakota is a perfect stop for truckers. There’s plenty of spacious parking, making it easy to pull in with a big rig. The food is tasty and served fast, and the coffee is excellent for a refreshing break. They also have a well stocked grocery store with plenty on the shelves.

Staff was great, the rest…

I’m genuinely impressed by how bad the food here was. It’s not even serviceable small town food. It’s just horrendous and weirdly expensive.

Stopped in for lunch and I guess our expectations were too high. The outside looks fun and inviting but inside the restaurant needs some serious TLC. Note, the grocery store and gift shop were fine. The restaurant felt dirty and floors looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The food was low quality and portions were small. For the price I expected a lot more. It would be better to hit a drive through. Don’t recommend.

Service was ok and friendly.

There are several signs along the highway leading up to the exit, making it easy to find. The server was friendly and the food was enjoyable—reminiscent of classic bar fare, making it a solid choice for a stop during a long road trip. Photos of the food are attached.

We stopped for pie for lunch, and it was worth every bite. The service was on point and very friendly and professional. The kids also got to enjoy the big Buffalo’s out front. We shopped their grocery store after we ate to pick up dinner, very convenient.

My family and I was returning home from Rapid City to Sioux Falls it was late and we stopped for some pie. There were only two employees there cleaning and getting ready to close. Both of them were happy to serve us, they even made a Shirley Temple for our son and loaded it up with lots of cherries. This place is great! Good lemon pie and great people.

They have everything! Saloon, shooting gallery, restaurant, homemade pies, groceries, souvenirs and all kinds of taxidermy animals as decor. We got the 2 local ipas, (Crows Feet IPA was very good), fried pickle chips, burger and indian taco.

The food was very good. They have a buffet or you can order off the regular menu. Adjacent to it are a few store for fudge, souvenirs, a small shooting gallery & a grocery store. A great place to stop to eat & shop.
