The first time was right after the strike. The restaurant was nearly empty, but the staff as excited to see us. The meal and wine was excellent.
The second and third times were busier. One visit was over a holiday weekend. We waited for a few minutes before being seated at the first open outdoor table. They were nice enough to offer sunglasses to help with the Colorado sun. Again the food and wine was excellent.
Excited to return next week.
Host Morgan at the door was very personal & gave us exceptional & personal service!
Morgan saw us taking selfies, walked over & offered to take our pics with the best views. He even took a selfie of himself (attached) which gave us a giggle!
We lined up about 10:40 on December 29th (BUSY SEASON) and got in no problem. About 11-ish midweek last February got a great outside seat!
Lobster Gnochi is my go to- the bowl was even incredibly warm & stayed hot for a while with outside cold temps.
It’s our go-to meal in Telluride! Way to go Alpino Vino, Morgan & team!
Quaint space and wonderful service. Fireplace was just right.
Best ossobuco of my life.
Really special experience.
I think there are much better lunch/dinner and wine options downtown. It was cool to have lunch and a bottle of wine on the mountain, but they have lost their status as the highest restaurant in NA. Not worth the money! If you want a special experience, go to La Marmotte.
