Before or after dinner, pop into our convivial Jackson, NH bar and lounge, open every evening. A lounge food menu is available 4:00-9:00pm Sunday through Thursday and until 4:00-10:00pm Friday through Saturday. On Wednesday evenings (in season), join us on the deck for live, local music and half-off select bottles of wine. During the colder months, our menu includes fondue every evening, prepared with a signature blend of cheeses.

To start off with, the food was geeat. You wouldn’t think that this in any of itself was so important, but for whatever reason, finding great food in Jackson is hard. The service was great too, also a surprise, because there was only one person waiting on a full bar and over 20 people on tables; the bartender (his name was Leon). I tipped him well for his stellar service. That said, it is more of a locals spot than it is a destination, and it definitely needs to hire more staff.

Waiter never shows up, food is just not well cooked, Negroni tastes like they never made one before. Seems like they are short staffed or manager went on extended vacation. This is a cozy spot for a drink, snack or meal after a day on the mountain or exploring the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We came twice on a recent stay one time for a meal and again for drinks. The cocktails are tasty and well balanced with good flavor profiles. The fondue for two is an authentic Swiss-style fondue with the perfect cheese to bread ratio, it could only be more perfect with a shot of kirsch. The service by Charlie and Leon was well paced and relaxed, a nice change from so many restaurants that push tables through their meals. I recommend stopping in and enjoying the time and space, I’m looking forward to returning on a future visit.

Great food. The drinks we ordered were mixed very well. Our bartender was super personable and had excellent bar knowledge. Fantastic conversation with a great setting. Football was on TV. This was a perfect little stop with great food and beverage. It’s not cheap but it is worth every penny.

Great visit! Came twice during our stay, once for dinner and once for cocktails. Charlie helped us the first evening and perfectly balanced attentiveness and space to make for a great dinner experience. Leon assisted us the second evening and quickly served us with great energy before our dinner reservations. The food and drinks were excellent both evenings. Highly recommend!

The food and drinks here are excellent. If you are expecting a cozy restaurant like we were, you will be disappointed. This is a hotel bar that has some tables where you can get food service. I’m not sure why they take reservations, it’s a first come first serve place. A table was not held for us even with a reservation made well in advance and we had to wait. The cute pictures you see of the interior is the entire place.
