The Alpine Inn Resturant is the nicest place to dine at Crystal Mountain. We’ve had both breakfast and dinner here and have had fantastic experiences on every occasion. The restaurant has that authentic Austria feel, and if you’re looking for a special meal while visiting the mountain, this is the place to go.

We loved the atmosphere so much at Crystal we had our wedding reception in this building ten years ago. Something went terribly wrong with the food from then to now. There is nothing fine about this dinning besides service and the price. Food came out so fast. It had to be pre-made or microwaved. In fact, my wife’s ‘s pasta was cold on one side and warm on the other side. Wife didn’t even want to take it back to the hotel as leftovers. I ate all of my Bavarian goulash or whatever but I just snowboarded for 10 hours so I was super hungry and it kind of reminded me of hamburger helper from my childhood. Anyways, food now suck. We were going to eat breakfast here but now we just want to get off the mountain find some good food

We were worried about having limited dining options up on the mountain but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we went to the cozy Alpine Inn Restaurant. I had the Hungarian Goulash and my wife had a hamburger. I really enjoyed the Goulash. We didn’t break the bank on dinner and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Great service and server. Very attentive. It was pretty empty, but I’m assuming the attention we received would still be there if it were crowded.
The pretzel is huge and was perfect for 3 of us. Loved the beer cheese.
My wife and I split the steak, mashed potatoes, and broccolini. It was just enough food for us.
The mashed potatoes and broccolini were cooked perfectly.
The steak was cooked perfectly as well. I thought in feel a little short on flavor.

Good food. Hubby and I were both happy with our orders: Bratwurst and Angus Burger. Coffee is strong and perfect temperature (unlimited). Atmosphere is comfortable. Clean restroom (although kinda dark once the door for each toilet cubicle is closed). No wait when we came in around 2:30pm. Food came out fast (less than 15mins).

It’s the last week of weekday skiing. No dinner crowd means prompt and speedier service! There is a bar downstairs called the Snorting Elk Cellars; very dim lighting but is quite crowded. Upstairs is the Alpine Inn Restaurant which has both indoor and outdoor (with a tabletop fireplace) seating, with tables well-spaced apart, and large windows with ample natural lights. We ordered a Ceasar salad, Swiss Mushroom Burger, and a New York Strip. Salad was fresh and crunchy. Burger was juicy and tender. Steak was perfectly (medium) cooked as ordered. Great dinner!

We were staying at the Quicksilver Lodge and enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the Alpine Inn Restaurant! The staff were all so kind, welcoming and were able to answer questions for us. We sat outdoors and it was lovely! The food was very tasty and we weren’t expecting the Continental breakfast being included which was a wonderful, tasty surprise! (Hard-boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juice)
Thank you!!

The only place to eat if you arrive late. It was fine. Service was not the best but they eventually took care of us. We had the nachos since my girlfriend has celiac and is gluten free. The half size portion was huge and the nachos were pretty good. Nothing to come out of your way for but good enough.

Amazing service, amazing food, great outdoor spot. We had dinner here twice and the first night we had Steve who is fast, funny, and an incredibly personable gentleman. He really made our experience feel unique and memorable. The food was delicious, the Nachos and the BLT are both great choices. Finally, the outdoor seating is beautiful, we were able to watch the shade work its way up the mountain as sunset hit.

Excellent Dining experience whether it’s indoors or outdoors, service was friendly and relaxing, not rushed….
The ambiance, well, you’re in Mt Rainier National Parks doorsteps, trees and serenity, you can hear each other’s conversation unlike many noisy restaurants…
The food was prepared elegantly, like eye candy, and tasted very delicious…
I won’t forget this place as it was memorable for me…
