The best bar in La Crosse. Beautiful area with volleyball that draws in younger crowds. Mostly recent grads at the youngest. Not too rowdy with college kids as it is further from any campus. Great presence of veteran patrons (30s, 40s, 50s, 60s plus). The isolation from downtown makes it feel like a destination spot. The added perk of not having to witness the unfortunate homeless having to be asked to leave like at the downtown spots. This place is an ideal weekday and weekend spot.

Had a private party in the screened in porch, which was amazing, being outside to view the beautiful surroundings but no bugs. Alpine catered everything and decorated. The main course, pizza, was awesome. A bartender was also assigned to come in and check to see if we needed refills of pitchers or any other drinks so we didn’t have to run in to the bar. Party turned out great. Thank you Alpine Inn!

Was here 30 min before finally went and ordered at the bar.. almost an hr & 1/2 before I food came out.. fry’s sucked curds we’re cold and greasy our Togo order that was placed 20 min after our order came out before 1/2 of our table got there food. The only thing Cajun about the chix sandwich was the pepper jack cheese.. probably won’t be back

We absolutely loved Alpine Inn! We are on a mother and daughter road trip and we are planning to go back one more time before we leave. The cheese curds were some of the best we have ever had and the pizza and bacon cheeseburgers were both amazing! Customer service was fantastic! Also the view outside is phenomenal. We ate in the enclosed patio and it was so comfortable!

Came for wing Wednesday and they have an amazing deal. Not only that but the wings they have were excellent, meaty and crisp. Definitely worth the visit for the food and atmosphere!!
